The eligibility criteria for B.Tech course in SOA university, candidates shall have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (50% in case of SC / ST / OBC category) and obtained at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Siksha 'o' Anusandhan course admissions for various UG and PG courses of Engineering is done through either SAAT or various national-level entrance exams. Yes, it is hard to get admission at SOA University. The university offers UG, PG, and PhD courses across various streams such as  Agriculture, Law, Medical, Management, Engineering and others. SOA University admission for UG and PG programs is based on SOA's entrance exam i.e. SAAT. Apart from that, national-level entrance exams such as NEET, JEE Main,  CAT, XAT,  GATE, etc. are also accepted for the admission process.

The hostel fee structure for SOA University depends upon the number of accommodations, for double sharing with Air conditioning the fee is INR 1.20 Lacs per annum. For triple-sharing rooms with Air conditioning, the fee is INR 90,000 per annum. Siksha O Anusandhan University provides separate hostels for boys and girls with 24-hour security and Wi-Fi facilities. There are 13 boys and 11 girls hostel. The hostels also have mess facilities providing hygienic and nutritious food. The mess charges are not included in the hostel fee, candidates need to pay INR 36,000 per annum to avail of the campus mess.
