Review of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya University.

Placements: For CSC, ECE and IT, there are good placements, and civil also get some placements. Mechanical students need to search for jobs outside. There is good value to the certificate provided by this college, especially to mechanical.

Infrastructure: The food served here is good, and only vegetarian food is provided to students and staff members. Hostels are also very good, and cleaning and bathrooms are in good condition with hot water. Wi-Fi facility is available, and occasionally they provide special food. Hostels are under CCTV surveillance, and there is a central library in the district. In mechanical, all subjects related labs are available in our college with working condition. The canteen is also available to all students. There is a huge ground, hospital including gym also.

Faculty: There are excellent faculty members here, and well-known professionals are working here. The minimum qualification for faculty members is PhD and doctorate with industrial knowledge. There are library books, and we get a lot of knowledge from our staff members. All exams marks and results are shared to parents through SMS.

Other: Scholarships will be provided by our university, and events are conducted weekly by every department. The bus drops students from the college to the city, and there is a good park in our college. I am from BE mechanical engineering and passed out in 2016 with good knowledge. Now I am working in a top MNC, which is an automobile company.

I will not recommend you to join the mechanical course if your main objective is placements.

Placements: Our college prefers last for placements. Our college does not provide placements. I am disappointed as my main objective is placements in the mechanical course. It is good if your main goal is higher studies. I do not recommend this college for placements.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is bad, ad it does not provide Wi-Fi for mobiles. It provides low-speed internet for laptops. Classrooms are good here. The library is the best in the whole university. The food served is good. Sports facilities are available here. There is no good canteen. Our college provides good medical facilities. The atmosphere of the college is good. L&T company is beside the university.

Faculty: Not all lecturers are good, qualified and helpful. Some lecturers are very good. Semester exams are easy. The course curriculum is good, and it is the same as Anna University. Faculty members in the mechanical course are very bad.

Other: I have chosen this course because we can gain more knowledge in the mechanical course. There is no pressure in the hostel or from college. Our college organises fests, and we one can enjoy. It depends on the individual when it comes to studies. I will not recommend you to join the mechanical course if your main objective is placements.

Our college has good faculty members who are friendly.

Placements: This college will give admissions based on intermediate marks of students. The salary package offered here is 10 LPA. The top recruiters for our course were Tech Mahindra, Amazon, TCS and CTS. The highest salary package of 10 LPA and the average salary package of 6 LPA and the lowest salary package of 4 LPA are offered in our course. About 80% of the students got internships from our course. It is the best institute for bachelor of engineering.

Infrastructure: The hostel serves completely vegetarian food. This college belongs to Kanchi Peetadipathi. The hostel provides Wi-Fi facility and 24 hours hot water facility. This college has an international library with more than 20 lacs of books. This college has beautiful gardens to relax in.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and qualified with PG. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Students will easily develop communication with them. The course curriculum is relevant. They will provide campus placements which are useful to every student. This is the best place to improve your knowledge

I am disappointed with the college placements.

Placements: I am in the mechanical engineering course in the final year. I am from 2020 pass out batch. If you want placement in our college, you can opt for the CSE course because you never expect placements of core companies in civil and mechanical courses. About 70% of students from the CSE course got placements. The salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA. CTS is the only company I know which visit our campus every year to recruit students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good in our field. It provides a separate department building for all departments. New block or the admin block is the best one. The library is constructed in a unique style. Hotels are good for engineering students if your expectations are not too high. I stay in the hostel for 1 year, but I was unable to find whether the food items were rasam, sambar or dal.

Faculty: I don't know well about other department faculty members. I am satisfied with our department faculty members except very few. They are highly qualified, and many teachers are PhD holders. They are student-friendly. HOD is the best.

Other: Our college organises a wide range of fests and sports activities. Every department has its own fest, and at the same time, common fest named Tarunyam and sports fest named Spardha are also organised.

Overall good campus for betch life

Placements: Placements are good. You can expect placements mainly in software fields.expectations for any companies they may less. Though if you placed in core companies they may offer 15 or 16k per month. You can except software companies for. Placements in this uni versity

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good . The labs for mechanical engineering are good. It has almost all equipment required for pratical purposes. The staff also goog explaning the working of the machines and you can expect a good knowledge in learning about the practical knowledge

Faculty: Faculty is good. Most of the faculty are ph.D. holders . But some of faculty, you can not expect any kbowledge from them .most of the faculty are supportive . You may expect some workshops in university campus itself by the faculty . So overall the faculty is good.

Education point of view college is good and when it comes to placements nothing great about it.

Placements: The college had 60% on campus placements with major recruiters like cognizant, sutherland, and others. Internship was supposed to be arranged by the students themselves and the college does't really help you o that. Cognizant will conduct personality development classes.

Infrastructure: The hostel rooms were shanty and pretty oil structure. The food at hostels can be a trouble for your stomach. The travelling from the college to kanchipuram can have a good impact on your pocket money. So having a two wheeler might help. The classrooms and lab facilities is not up to the mark.

Faculty: The course curriculum is the same as followed by other universities and is not updated according to the industry standards. Few staff members had good experience to share about their industrial knowledge. Other general staff had good knowledge about their fields. You might have to study Sanskrit and Indian culture till pre-final year.

Our college is a university ranked institution, which is not up to the mark, with terrible progress.

Placements: The placements in our college are not up to the mark. The percentage of placements is very low compared to the past academic years. Mainly in the mechanical department, a few students got placed, but not in good companies. Many placement training sessions were held, which were of no use.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is okay. We cannot expect good medical facilities, Wi-Fi zone, sports and game facilities in our college, but the labs were really good. The classrooms were not up to the expectations of a university ranked institution. It's better to talk very less about canteen as it is maintained for namesake.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are satisfactory. Most of the faculty were PhD holders, and they interact very well with the students. The student-faculty ratio was not acceptable. They follow old and boring methods to teach students.

Other: Very few fests will be conducted in our college. The worst part is that we don't have an auditorium in our college and fests will be conducted in the library premises. We had a bad experience.

Education point of view college is good and when it comes to placements I am not satisfied.

Placements: I being mechanical student can suggest this college for good education and placements are a bit lower compared to other departments and other colleges. The average salary is 3 Lacs per annum. Almost all students have under gone internships in different fields.

Infrastructure: The college is Wi-Fi enabled and some classrooms are equipped with projectors. Of the whole college library is super. Medical facility is good. Quality of food available in canteen is good. Basic hostel facilities are good and all hostels are non AC. Spardha sports meet is held every year.

Faculty: 90% of college faculty have profound knowledge in their respective subjects. Smart classes are taken and there is good relation between students and faculty. Yes we had three Industrial Visits. Good Quality of teaching. Southern alloys, neyveli lignite corporation, Hindustan machine Tools are the places of industrial visits.

Other: Every department has respective departmental fests. These fests include events. More than 2000 students are in campus. Atmosphere at campus in the evenings is awesome. Scholarships are also provided to the merit students every year.
