Foreign students seeking admission to B.E/B.Tech courses should have passed the equivalent of the +2 examination, in their respective country. Anna University has to approve this examination and issue an eligibility certificate endorsing the same. Note: At the time of admission students should submit their original +2 Mark Sheets, Transfer Certificate, TC and Community Certificate.etc.,

Candidate must have completed diploma in a relevant stream of Engineering and have secured 50% marks in last two semesters for general categories (45% for backward category and 40% for Most Backward and for SC/ ST category just pass in enough). Or Candidate must have passed with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelors Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10 + 2 + 3 years pattern and studied Mathematics at +2 level or studied Mathematics as core or ancillary subjects at B.Sc. level alone are eligible for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Courses through Lateral Entry.
