SRM Institute of Science and Technology admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance tests. The admission for the flagship programs are held on the basis of SRMJEEE UG exam. Further, SRM MBA admissions are conducted on the basis of SRMJEEM test. The SRMJEEE PG test is conducted for the various SRMIST PG courses. The university also accepts scoring from nationally-held tests like CAT, TANCET, MAT, etc. for admissions.

SRM University Chennai offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses at the UG level in the Medical stream through NEET UG scores followed by round-wise NEET Counselling. As per SRM University Chennai cutoff 2024, the last-round closing rank was 195886 for admission to the MBBS course. The Round 1 closing rank for the same stood at 637582 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
For BDS admission, the NEET UG first and last-round closing ranks were 980273 and 980273, respectively.
Q: Can students get admission at SRM University without SRM JEE?

SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech and M.Tech based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the entrance exam.
To sit for the respective exams, candidates must apply for the exams priorly and make a preparation strategy to ace the exam.

Yes, candidates can get admission to BTech without JEE Main score. Admission to BTech course is only based on SRMJEEE score. Candidates are required to pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate as per the minimum eligibility criteria. Further, aspirants must qualify for SRM JEE exam with a valid score. No, SRM IST does not accept CUET score for admission to any of its UG & PG courses. The university conducts its in-house entrance exam for BTech and MTech, i.e., SRM JEE. MPH experience at srm sph.
Placements: There were around 60 plus students in our batch. Regarding placements, our department plays a vital and supporting role along with mentoring and guiding timely the students for external work world environment. The percentage of students placed at the college was impressive and surely beneficial.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available at the college are well maintained and utilised to their maximum potential. I can suggest the infrastructure of srm ktr campus as one among the best a student can experience. When talking about sph department, I feel it as a most comforting and academic friendly environment.
Faculty: My faculty members were highly qualified and very much knowledgeable and they have a strong foundational sense over their topics of interests. The curriculum here is very much far sighted towards the work related futuristic world awaitening for any student who wish to be competitive and highly productive.

MPH EXPERIENCE at SRM University.
Placements: The quality of placements has been exceptional, and college provided us with valuable insight and advice. Overall, I am very satisfied with the placement process at the college and the support provided by the institution. Totally around 60 plus students were there in our batch.
Infrastructure: My overall experience at the college has been positive and have found the college to have all necessary infrastructure and facilities needed for a good learning environment. Classrooms are equipped with modern technologies and resources that cater the academic needs.
Faculty: The quality of teaching has been excellent, comprehensive and UpToDate covering all the recent developments in the field. The curriculum was found to be engaging and it has provided me with a deep understanding of the subject. I appreciate the efforts made by college to ensure that curriculum is relevant and applicable to the real-world scenarios.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and study materials given to us.
Placements: Here, the placements for our senior batch were good. The average salary offered to the placed students was Rs. 6,00,000 per annum. Till now, I heard that the highest package offered was around 12 LPA. Almost all the students got the internship from college. I don't know much about the highest and the lowest stipend.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility provided in the college is okay. In the library, books or E-books are not updated for a long period. Medical facilities are not good. Labs and classrooms are great. The quality of food in the canteen is good. Hostel rooms are completely a nightmare. Till now, I haven't faced any infrastructure related issues in college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not at all helpful and don't clear our doubts. If we approach them for clearing doubts, they tell us to go here and there, and as a result, our doubts remain doubts. Teaching methods of our faculty are very poor like they open projector to show PPTs and read everything line by line. Thereby students are not able to understand the concepts at all. Teacher to student ratio is around 1:70. I got industry exposure.

Fully satisfied. Better be unique to try something good & excel in that
Placements: 1) The placement records is amazing. Almost all the students ( except the few with low grades/CGPA) got placed.
2) the highest package - 36Lpa, the lowest - 6Lpa and Average - 8Lpa was offered.
3) 400-500 company visit our college for recruitment.
4) BTA BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY ANALYST was the top role offered.
Almost all students did internships. Few did Vocational Training.
Infrastructure: 1) Free Wi-Fi , Two Labs in a week, 24*7 Library now. You can sleep peacefully in summer since AC is there.
2) Hostel, everything is good except the wardens. I hate them. Varieties of food is served.
3) Free Hospital, Numerous Canteens, A plenty of sports/games to enjoy.
Faculty: 1) Helpful, Over Qualified and good teachers. Teaching quality is fine enough.
2) Yes it is. Not that much an industry ready but the research ready guys. U can see a change in your personality and way of communication. You'll be more confident and social.
Other: 1) I was interested in same course. New learnings daily and cool/chill teachers.
2) No. of exams has to be worked upon. ( But fair and easy markings )
3) You'll not get bored even a single second. There are numerous activities to do.
