Our college is the best to gain in-depth knowledge.
Placements: Placements were very good. Internships were also offered at this college. Top recruiting companies visited our campus for recruitment. Many students got internships in their own ventures.
Infrastructure: Facilities were great in this college. Hostel facilities were average. The canteen was not good. The food served in the mess was average.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in all activities and events. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams were moderately difficult. External examiners evaluate exam papers.

I am very satisfied with placement cell, faculty members, and infrastructure of this college.
Placements: Many students got placed in this course. Few students opted for higher studies. Around 65-70% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 6 LPA - 9 LPA. Placements and salary packages mainly depend on your skills. Top recruiting companies were Aditya Birla, Skoda, Parker, Tata Motors, Bosch, Forbes Marchall, JSW, Audit, Mahindra, Fedex, Sandvik, etc. Internships were offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent. It looked like we were studying in some other countries. Laboratrioies were better. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The benches were very good in our classrooms. Digital classrooms were well-maintained. There was a huge library, and around 7,000 books were available. Digital books were also available. There was a health center for emergency purposes. The canteen was available. There was a cafeteria on our campus. Sports were conducted and also provided turf. Basketball and table tennis courts were available. Playground was available for sports like volleyball and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers were well-educated. All faculty members were Ph.D. scholars. They taught topics repeatedly if students did not understand them. All teachers were well-trained for education. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. In this course, everything works on machines, so there should be skilled people to handle things. Everything was good. Assignments were also conducted in this college. Many events were conducted, such as Symbiothon, Saksham, etc. For the freshers' party, many car shows are conducted. I would recommend students to join this college.

The college is focusing on skill development of students.
Placements: As Symbiosis Skills and Open University (SSOU) commenced its first academic calendar in the year of 2017-2018, the event of the first batch to pass out and receive placements is yet to occur. The first batch of B.Tech, BBA, and B.Sc., will receive placements during the academic year 2020-2021. SSOU is one of the first skill development institutes in the nation, and it is also embedded in the Skill Development Programme initiated by the prime minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi. The college focuses on skill development and making its students ready for the industry. The university has signed many MOUs (memorandum of understanding) with industries and companies. Some notable ones being Volkswagen, SKF, Lucas Nulle, Enrich, Daikin, and Shoppers Stop. Due to these factors, industry employment and placements are very promising.
Infrastructure: A humongous amount of time and money has been invested in the infrastructure of this campus. As a skill development university, the labs are equipped with the latest technology and top of the line equipment. Everything from posh, air-conditioned classrooms to automated CNC machines for technical usage, the university has put in tremendous efforts in providing the best of tools to its students. The campus consists of a basketball court, tennis court, gymnasium, table tennis, and a well-stocked library. The campus lacks a proper field for football and other athletic activities.
Faculty: The faculty members recruited are highly qualified and experienced. Many professors are alumni from top institutes like IITs and NITs. Teachers teach the skills required in the industry. As a skill development university, the curriculum focuses more on practical studies rather than theoretical studies. The curriculum is designed in such a way that 70% importance is given to practical concepts and 30% importance is given to theoretical concepts. The college provides industrial internships for students after every academic year. Hence, making the students more industry ready.

I would suggest you to go for mechatronics rather than mechanical. As we have got lots students getting enrolled in mechanical, so its better that you go for mechatronics. Moreover, it has got a great demand. But at last, what matters is your interest.
