TNNLU LLM Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Tamil Nadu National Law University LLM is a full-time programme that lasts one year. The postgraduate level course is also offered full-time and has two academic semesters. Further, the law programme is offered across three specialisations including Corporate and Securities Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, and Natural Resources Law. LLM at TNNLU is offered under the UGC Guidelines 2012 following the semester pattern.
Tamil Nadu National Law University LLM admission is entrance-based. The university accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam to get admitted to the LLM course. Step 2: TNNLU CLAT Selection Process
The registered candidates are required to appear for the CLAT entrance exam for admission to LLM programmes. After that, candidates will have to go through the CLAT counselling process for acceptance of seats. To confirm the allotment, candidates have to accept the seat allotment, after that the allotment will be frozen.
Step 3: CLAT Counselling
The counselling process of CLAT 2025 will be conducted online mode on the official website of the Consortium of NLUs; i.e. consortiumofnlus. Ac. CLAT Counselling Registration 2025 will be done before the CLAT Counselling Process 2025 begins. Candidates who will be shortlisted for the CLAT 2025 admission process will be asked to exercise their options to accept, revise, or withdraw from the seat allotment process before the last date.

Step 4: TNNLU Final Seat Allotment
Candidates who will accept the allotted seat need to upload all the required documents on the official portal. After that candidates, will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats within a stipulated deadline. TNNLU LLM fees can be paid semesterly/ annually based on the candidates' choice.

For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli, the CLAT test was conducted in December last year.
