Yes, UEM Kolkata offers a four-year BTech course via its Department of Engineering. Candidates get option to choose among nine specialisations. As per the selection process, it's mandatory for students to qualify for IEMJEE exam to get admission to any of the BTech specialisation at UEM Kolkata. UEM Kolkata cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE on the basis of which admission to the BE/ BTech courses take place. As per the WBJEE Round 3 cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the stdudents belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course at UEM Kolkata with a closing rank of 8796. 

 

For MCA admissions at UEM Kolkata, candidates must have passed BCA/ BSc (Computer Science) from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate and above. In addition to this, candidates must have appeared in WBJEE JECA/ any other national level or state level exam/ UEM Entrance Exam+GDPI.

Candidates who hold a UG degree of either Engineering/ Science or Management are eligible to apply for MBA admission at UEM Kolkata. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT or any other state/ national-level entrance exam. Apart from that, candidates can also apply via a valid score of IEM CET, which is conducted by UEM itself. Candidates who qualifies for IEMCET will be exempted from other entrance exams. Students must qualify IEMJEE for admission to B.Tech, BCA and BBA.
