UniPune admission to a majority of PG and UG courses is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. The university offers MCA, MMM, Advanced Diploma, MPH, E-MBA, LLM and M.Lib.I.Sc, among others. Admission to a few courses is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam. The university also accepts MAH CET, MAH MCA MET,  CMAT/ CAT/ ATMA and other exams for admission to a number of courses offered at its campus or its affiliated colleges.

SPPU admission for a majority of PG and UG courses, such as M.Sc. M.A. M.Tech, M.Com B.A. And BBA among others, is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. Additionally, there are numerous courses, such as MCA MMM, Advanced Diploma, MPH E-MBA, LL. M. and M. Lib. ISC among others, where the admission process is completely based on merit in the previous qualifying exam (Class 12 for UG admission and UG degree for PG admission). Thus, students will not be able to get direct admissions to Pune University.

Q:   What is the Pune University MHCET Cutoff 2025?
A: 

The UNIPUNE MH CET Cutoff 2025 was released for all rounds and categories belonging to the Home State and the All India quota. According to the MH CET Cutoff 2025, the cutoff ranged from 40.05 score in the first round closing cutoff to 99.32, according to the last round closing score for the General AI category. 

The hardest college for admission was ILS Law College, with the qualifying cutoff ranging from 99.72 to 99.32 score in the first and last round for the previous mentioned category. Please note that the cutoff will vary for each round, category, college, and quota.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SP University Pune) has undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, Diploma & doctoral degrees courses available for students across various departments & institutes housed on & off-campus. At the UG level (undergraduate), there are Pune University courses like BA, BTech, BSc, etc. At the postgraduate (PG) level, there are programmes like MA,  MTech, etc.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in MBA in UNIPUNE?
A: 

No, UNIPUNE doesn't offer direct admission to MBA course. Candidates have to qualify the eligibility and selection criteria. SPPU MBA admissions for Maharashtra candidates are subject to a valid score in MAH CET, conducted by DTE Maharashtra. However, for outside Maharashtra candidates, a valid score in CMAT/ CAT/ MAH CET works well. Interested candidates are required to register on the official website and appear for the course-wise shortlisting process. Before that candidates have qualify the eligibilty, any UG degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category candidates).

Q:   Can I get UniPune with 50000 rank in JEE Main?
A: 

UniPune cutoff 2025 is out for all rounds and categories. According to UniPune B.Tech cutoff 2025, a rank of 50000 should be good enough to get you admission to one of the affiliated colleges, as the rank range is well above 50000 for many.  Some of the colleges that accept this rank are listed below with their last round closing ranks. Please note that the list is only applicable for the General AI category candidates; other categories will have different cutoffs according to round, gender and specialisation.

The list of documents required for Unioune admission and OEE registration are Score card of last qualifying exam, Mark sheet of last semester of qualifying exam, Caste certificate/ non-creamy layer certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra – for reserved category candidates, Valid income certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra, and Medical certificate issued by a civil surgeon in case of PwD category. Best for those students who don't want to go to big cities to study. Placement is average.
Placements: This college can't provide on-campus placement. It takes guest lectures on placements and they make a group to send the job opportunities to students. With this course students have many opportunities to pursue after completion. Placement percentage is very low.
Infrastructure: It has good computer labs with a strong Wi-Fi connection. The library is good for studying. There is no hostel and canteen. Students can grab books according to their needs for study from the library. The college has the facility of water coolers and when the coolers do not work they arrange the water source for students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers have less experience in teaching. Exam papers come from the SPPU university. Exams are not very difficult. All of the teachers have a helpful nature. It makes students ready for the industry with their skills.
Other: College also organises fests and days. It provides scholarships for students.

First-year experience at my college.
Placements: I am still in my first year, so I do not have any experience with placements. After discussing with seniors, I have come to know that we should not depend on campus placements and should struggle for jobs by ourselves. Stay upskilled and keep upgrading yourself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not as good as I expected. The canteen should be better. Boys' hostel should be provided by the college itself. The area should also be better because students face many problems related to food and health. I advise students to stay on the front side of the college because the backside area is not very good for health.
Faculty: All faculty members are not the same. Some are friendly and understanding towards students, while others are rude or inexperienced. There is also a lack of industrial knowledge and experience. Students need the most for future guidance. A few teachers have industrial knowledge, but they cannot deliver it to students.
Other: Fests and events are conducted by the college, which is good. But the college should organize them without charging students. Talking about my course, I have chosen AI, and this branch is quite new in my college, but it is very good for future jobs and placements.

Placements: According to our seniors, placements in our college are very good. Various companies approach freshers. The name of our college also makes an impact on our resume and CV. There are many companies which are associated with us and help us watch many programs.
Infrastructure: We have a laboratory for all the practical subjects and all the essential lab instruments, chemicals, and reserved microorganisms. The practicals are fun. The library is a peaceful and fun place in the college. The hostel is about to start this year.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and are highly qualified. Their teaching skills are amazing. Every time they teach, it feels easy to understand the difficult topics too. The semester exams are easy if you study well as everything is provided to us while lectures and sent to the groups.

Satisfied with the faculty and events.
Placements: In my course there are many students and the packages offered are low. Many students got internships at Kasnet company and other companies. Roles like Data Analysis and AI engineer are provided. Many campus drives are held to help students find internships and jobs.
Infrastructure: The library is proper. Mess food is okay not that good. It does not have medical facilities. Hostel rooms are good and facilities are moderate. There's strict checking in hostels especially in girls' hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and they are very nice in teaching. Some teachers prepare students for an industry level. The passing rate is moderate. Students are gaining knowledge from seminars and many programs provided by the college for development, and are familiar with the industry. Faculty members are very good and knowledgeable.
Other: This course helps to keep updated about the industrial field. Events are good and scholarships are provided well.

Decent quality of infrastructure, but a good level of education.
Placements: Almost 5 to 10 percent of students were placed on campus. The highest package for the AI & DS course was 18 LPA, and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. HAL, Swiggy, Zomato, Tata, TCS, etc., are the companies recruiting students. 20 to 30 per cent get internships from college, and all others take internships from outside. Full-stack developer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in college at libraries and in labs, and classrooms have facilities like projectors. Classrooms are modern, and the libraries are also open for 12 hours, 7 days a week, for hostel students. There are two separate hostels for girls and boys. Also, the students can enjoy a decent meal in the college canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified and knowledgeable in their particular subject, they have taken the TET examination and passed it. The course AI & DS is curriculum-ready, and it is creating industry-ready students. The difficulty level of the semester is moderate, and the pass percentage is 95%.

Campus life is very satisfying and excellent, but the only issue is placement.
Placements: Placement is low compared to other colleges. A very small number of students got placements from the college. The average package every year is around 3 LPA. The highest package is 8 LPA. Top roles offered are data analyst, etc. The top recruiting company is QSpider from my perspective. 
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every department. Labs are well furnished and contain computers on PCs of very good quality. Classrooms are also better, but in some classrooms, smart boards are not working. Sports facilities are very much excellent. Ground or a particular place is available for each sport.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. They have knowledge of their particular subject in a very relevant manner. They are always ready to help students with their studies, etc. Semester exams are not too tough here if we start studying for the exam 7 days before the exam, then we can easily pass it. 
Other: As it has chosen computer engineering, it is one of the most demanding courses, and there is scope for it in the future. So that's why I chose it. I think the placement ratio should be improved, and exams can be taken more strictly. For events, this college is very good. Various types of events and festivals give students more confidence and an opportunity to enjoy college life.

Q:   How can I get into Pune University for MA?
A: 

Candidates seeking admission to MA are required to have completed their relevant UG degree. For further selection, candidates have to appear for OEE conducted by UniPune for final selection. The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. After appearing for the exam, students are required to wait for the merit lists released on the official website of the university. After the release of the merit list, students are required to fill in the admission form and upload the necessary documents in it. After all the documents are verified by the relevant department, an admission fee challan is generated and the fee must be paid followed by that before the last date.

Q:   What is the admission fee for UniPune MA programme?
A: 

SPPU total tuition fee for MA ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 11.9 lakh. The fee varies depending upon the specialisation chosen, tenure of the course and the affiliated college selected by the student. This tuition fee is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Students are advised to visit the official website of the college they wish to get into or visit the admission office of the college/ university campus in person for more clarity on this subject. Other than the tuition fee, students are also required to pay the application fee to get into UniPune. Q:   What all specialisations are available under the MSc course of UniPune?
A: 

At the PG level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 20 specialisations. While admission to a majority of these specialisations is OEE based, there are a few courses, such as Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Drug Chemistry, among others, admission to which is completely merit-based. In addition to this, there are a few MSc programmes, the duration of which is slightly different from the majority. At the UG level, Pune University offers a full-time BTech programme. The duration of the programme is four years, spread across eight semesters. UniPune and its several affiliated colleges accept MAH HM CET scores for admission to the Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology course.
As per the cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing ranks for Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology stood at 27, whereas in 2022 it was 36.97 for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota seats. The college affiliated to the university has witnessed a declining trend in the last two years. 
Q:   What is the seat intake of Pune University MBA course?
A: 

The total seat intake of Savitribai Phule Pune University for MBA in Pharma Biotech programme is 60. For other MBA courses, however, seat intake depends on the number of seats at the affiliated college.
