Good college for academics.
Placements: Before entering this college, I came with an expectation that top companies like Deloitte and Cognizant would come to campus but in the last 2 years no such companies came. I am disappointed. Also they give a starting salary of Rs. 15,000 for a B.Com student. If you're choosing WCC for campus placements that is a big disappointment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-maintained. They keep on building new blocks and renovating classrooms for students' comfort and campus life. The computer lab facilities are also good but many computers are for faculty. Hostel life is very miserable as the hostel food is not good.
Faculty: The faculty of our department is excellent, easily approachable, friendly, and clear all doubts. Our department gives us so many opportunities to get exposure and develop ourselves. The curriculum is also relevant to our course not only theory subjects but they also teach us practical skills.

Honest review of Madras Christian College.
Placements: According to what I have seen, not many students have received good packages or strong placements. Placements mostly revolve around commerce departments. I have not seen placements in my department. There are internship drives organized by the college, various departments, and the MCC MRF Innovation Club.
Infrastructure: The college is very old. Buildings are also very old. Hostels (called halls) are also very old. The MCC MRF Innovation Park is the only modern and good facility I found. It also has a Korean café. There is no Wi-Fi on campus, and only Jio works with poor connectivity. The library is okay. Classrooms are very old. Hostels also look very old. Rooms are small and outdated. There is Wi-Fi in hostels, but the connectivity and speed are poor.
Faculty: Faculty and teaching staff of my department are really nice. They are supportive and highly knowledgeable. They are experienced in their fields. The non-teaching staff do not have good manners when speaking to students. They keep students under pressure during the admission process and even afterward. The curriculum is said to be updated, but it feels old. Exams include 3 ICAs and one end-of-semester exam. The second ICA is a creative test, which can become hectic at times.

Very satisfied with the quality of courses offered, professors, and infrastructure.
Placements: Since it's a B.Sc. course, not many students were placed, but then the internships were great from a variety of industries. Top roles offered here are as lab assistants and interns. Our students got to intern at a lot of institutes, such as the Atomic Research Centre.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great here, the learning material and labs were amazing. The library is wonderful with a variety of books. The canteen is great, but the mess and hostels need a lot of improvement. The food provided in the mess could be more conveniently available. The sports department is great too.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. The course curriculum is very relevant to today's life, and it does help us learn more about our course and make us industry-ready. The semester exams are not too hard, and they have a very good pass percentage.
Other: Chemistry degree here at WCC is ranked top among many ranking platforms. The extracurricular activities are encouraged widely, and there are a lot of events and activities held that help us keep busy and engaged with a lot of productive things.

Good college with qualified teachers, placements, but the infrastructure and campus should improved.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed from our course. The average salary package offered was around 1 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. 30% students also got internship opportunities in small IT companies and startups. The top roles offered were software development, web development, testing, and support roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities include a computer lab with AC and Wi-Fi, and in the classroom, there are projectors with screens. The classrooms are near and clean, no problem with that. There is no hostel in our college. All students are coming from their own homes. .
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful for the exam and also for the career, and they are super qualified staff and knowledgeable too. They will teach according to our capacity and make us really read, which is the best teaching quality. The exams are quite tough, but the pass percentage is high.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do a job-related computer course. Listening skills are good.

Really, the best infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in many companies, and most of the juniors also got placed in internships. The highest package is about 8 LPM, and the lowest package is about 2 LPM. About half of the students got placed in companies.
Infrastructure: Labs are not well-maintained in my college, and the quality of tables and chairs in the college is not good because a lecture is about 3 hours, and the tables are made of wood. Then we face injury sometimes. The medical facilities are not available in the college, but the food in the canteen is good.
Faculty: The difficulty level of the semester exam is easy to moderate, even sometimes it is very easy, and sometimes it is very hard. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready. The pass percentage in my course is 70 - 80%. Teachers are very helpful to us, and they help us with everything.
Other: Scholarships are given to us in a timely manner.

Dissatisfied with the crowd.
Placements: Top MNCs came to our college and gave us placements. The highest salary package in our college was about 19 PLM, and the lowest package in our college was about 3 LPM. The percentage of students placed in my course was about 58%. Students got placed in many areas of India.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of our college were outstanding, and the infrastructure was also very good. The college spends about 30 lakh rupees per year on the development of the college. Events were also organised by the college. The Wi-Fi connectivity in college was very good, and the extender also connected.
Faculty: The crowd in my college was not good because students were not very satisfied with the infrastructure. Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of teachers was best, but students don't take an interest in learning. Semester exams are not too difficult.
Other: The campus crowd is boring.
