The college is really good, and I really like it, but the population is too high.

Placements: Around 50% of students are placed, with the highest package around 25 LPA and the lowest at 3.5 LPA for Mechanical Engineering. Top recruiters are Amazon and Google, very few people got internships in companies like Boeing, Caterpillar, Tata, etc. Top roles offered are mechanical engineering trainee, area manager, etc.

The food is difficult to habituate for people from the Telugu state.

Placements: On average, 50-60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package will be around 60-70 LPA. Almost every main development company visits this college for internships and placements. The students who get selected for internships have a higher chance of getting placed.

Amazing social life with amazing faculty and average placements.

Placements: In my batch, we have just started our placement training, and so far everything is very useful and informative, but with our passed out students, most of them get placed at an average salary package because of minimal opportunities to appear in final interviews.

The college is good, strict and academically good.

Placements: Placements are nice. There are super dream packages that are above 10 LPA. The dream package offered is above 8 LPA. If we have a good CGPA and technical skills, we will easily crack good placements. Nearly all students get placements with decent packages.

This is my insight about the college. I would definitely recommend people joining here.

Placements: Placements here are quite good. All placements take place in the Vellore campus. They ensure all the students get placed, even if you are doing mechanical you get an assured job in some software companies. Their average package for this year is around 11 LPA - 12 LPA. The highest package is 88 LPA. 867 companies visited and offered 8,000 job roles. For mechanical department top recruiters are Mercedes and Mahindra. 75-95% of eligible students got placed. They also keep in touch with the leading ...

With rank 17,845 in VITEEE, you have got an awesome chance of getting the CSE branch at VIT Chennai.

Many college students with comparable ranks were given CSE there.

So, sure — you can assume admission, however the charges can be slightly higher in those categories.

With a VIT rank above 1 Lacs and having gotten into VIT Andhra Pradesh in phase 5, it's unlikely to get into VIT Chennai. Generally, ranks above 1 Lacs are not considered for the main campuses (Vellore and Chennai) but are eligible for the VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal campuses.

VIT generally allocates camp
