VIT is a place to learn and a chance to grow.
Placements: This year, 10,027 students are placed as per the official website. Those with proper skills and knowledge get placed. Around 632 companies come, which include Consulting, Data Analytics, Automobile, Core, and other companies. Among them, top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Intel, and Deloitte. There are 3,337 Super Dream offers and 2,862 Dream offers. The university offers rigorous and efficient training for campus placements. The highest CTC offered is around 1 Cr.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my department is excellent. We have fully air-conditioned labs, classrooms with SMART boards, well-equipped computer labs with the latest configurations, and Wi-Fi all across the campus. The library is huge with digital access to journals, and study areas are well maintained. Hostel facilities are good, with clean rooms, 24/7 security, and the food quality in the mess varies from decent to good along with multiple cuisine canteens. Medical facilities are available on campus with an emergency ambulance service. Sports facilities include cricket grounds, football fields, a swimming pool, a gym, basketball courts, and a multisport court.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed to be industry-relevant and highly reliable in the future. All courses have access to high-quality labs that promote practical learning along with theoretical learning. Faculty members are mostly well-versed in their subjects except for a few, and most of them are willing to help beyond class. Students are prepared with not only technical skills but also with foreign languages, non-core subjects, and soft skills, which are highly relevant and helpful. Semester exams are mostly moderate and can be cracked with a decent amount of preparation.
Other: The surge of game-changing action involving AI in almost every field leads me to pursue my current course at VIT. I am surprised by the number of technical workshops covering multiple domains and fields being hosted every day by clubs and chapters. Riviera and Gravitas are the main fests of our college; other than these, many events and fests are also organized. The campus is very huge, and all academic and hostel blocks are big enough to accommodate students sufficiently. The crowd is very high. This college also provides multiple opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities of many kinds.

This institute is highly recommended by me if you have any idea of leading a successful life.
Placements: VIT Vellore provides high placement opportunities just after the completion of your course in this prestigious institution. Reputed companies like Google, Oracle, Accenture, Microsoft, and many more offer job opportunities to VIT graduates. During the 2024 placements, over 80% of students get placed with a rough average package of nearly 9 LPA and the highest is nearly 1 CPA. VIT Vellore is the best institute to produce successful students for various companies.
Infrastructure: VIT Vellore has over 35 hostel blocks for men and women with high-security facilities. Most of them are air-conditioned, and all rooms are properly sanitized. There are more than 6 huge grounds for football, basketball, volleyball, and cricket. There are 4 gyms here which are equipped with advanced machines. The swimming pool is well-maintained. The food provided here in the mess is no less than mouth-watering and equally hygienic too. VIT Vellore has a well-equipped medical center with highly qualified doctors. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 throughout the campus, providing high-speed internet connection facilities.
Faculty: All professors and assistant staff are highly qualified and very skillful in the subjects they teach. They are very helpful and mentor their students whenever they require, irrespective of the time of the day. The subjects taught in VIT Vellore are extremely helpful to all graduates, and the majority of them are grateful to have studied here. Examinations conducted here help students a lot, as they not only focus on the knowledge of the subject but also on its applications in real life. Open book examinations are encouraged here.
Other: I personally have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Machine Learning since I was a child. I have spent months trying to find the best institute to study at for a better future for myself, and then I finally landed at VIT Vellore. The course provided here is simply the best and cannot be matched by the majority of institutes worldwide. Apart from academics, the institute emphasizes extracurricular activities, fests, socializing, and other cultural events.

Placements are good. You can join if you plan on attending to a private university.
Placements: I would say average for placements because there is a wide difference in the scale of placements offered to different students. Top companies like Google and Amazon do come to our college for on-campus placements. But, they mostly choose above-average students with good skills and a desirable CGPA (mostly 8+). The other 70 or 80% of the population is placed as a mass in Tesla and other companies. The college has an average package of 8 LPA, but it can largely vary depending on your skills.
Infrastructure: Hostels are comfortable and safe, with all the facilities such as laundry, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, etc. You can go ahead with either 2, 3, 4 or even 6-seater rooms. The messy food is pretty fine too. The best part is that there are multiple caterers available. So, if you don't like the food in one place, you can always switch. Classrooms have comfortable seats and advanced projectors for education. There are multiple clubs for sports and games. The library is open from 8 AM to night 12:30 AM.
Faculty: The curriculum is pretty relevant and appropriate when compared to other top colleges like IITs and NITs. If you are a CSE student, you will start with Python in the first semester, then switch to C and C++ in the next semester, followed by DSA and all further. We also have other subjects. Teachers are okay. They are most like typical college professors who will tell you what to study but won't teach everything word for word. The semester exams are easy if you go through the topics once.
Other: Well, software engineering jobs in the field of computer science and engineering are one of the highest-paying sectors concerned with jobs. VIT is among the best private institutions offering both coursework and placements. The best things are the curriculum, the college exposure, and the academic programs. We have a fest named Riviera every year, with celebrities visiting in numbers.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the enormous number of rules and regulations.
Placements: This is my first year in the college and as far as I have heard, the placements are still going on. Students in the college prefer off campus placements over on campus placements due to more crowd, more competition resulting in very less package. Even the 9 pointers struggle in the placements sometimes.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course in way good than I expected. The classes are equipped with modern technologies from smartboard and projectors to comfortable sitting arrangements. AC are still not installed in some of the classes but the ventilation is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are satisfactory. Since most of them are from South, the northies will face issue in understanding their language due to difference in pronunciation but they will get used to it with time. Most the faculty members in first and second year are assistant professors and don't have much teaching experience. Due to shortage of faculty, sometimes they made to teach subject that is not even their domain.
Other: The cultural and technical fests in the college are very good source for socialization. They happen for 4-5 days and students across the country come to participate in it. The campus is very crowd though. On exam days, we get to SEE the real crowd and the first question that comes to the mind is whether I will get placed in this crowd or not. The rules are very strict here and you will be penalised even on breaking very small rule. The hostel life is very average as they have enormous number of rules to be followed inside the hostels.

Satisfied with college and placement opportunities.
Placements: College provides good opportunities with many dream and super dream companies visiting. Fortune 500 placements are not uncommon and majority who sit for placements are successful and receive an avg of around 7lpa. The largest recruiter is TCS. Software engineering and programming is the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Excellent facilities and I frasrructure when compared to government colleges and most private universities. Good hostel rooms are provided with several services like cleaning and laundry. Academics building are well built and maintained with good lab facilities.
Faculty: All teachers know what they are teaching and are good ATIT. Most are supportive and are committed to being their best. Curriculum is up to date, engaging and applicable in real life. It prepares us for jobs. Exams are conducted regularly and question papers are well balanced.
Other: Chose this course due to my personal interests in AI and ML. Events are really common due to the large number of clubs and extracurricular activities are good too.
