VIT Vellore BTech CSE course syllabus consists of subjects categories as programme core, programme elective, university core, and university elective. There are abou 34 programme electives in the curriculum. Some of the offerd course electives are as follows:

The institute conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for M.Tech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. The institute accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc., for MBA course. However, admission to a few other courses, including BSc, BSc (Hons), BCA, BCom, MSc, MCA, among others, is based on the aggregate obtained by the candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam (merit-based). VIT Vellore accepts VITEEE cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech specialisations. However, the authorities did not release the VIT Vellore VITEEE 2024 cutoff online, and it was only accessible to candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. VIT Vellore's cut off depends on several factors and will be used in the preparation of the merit list for the counselling and admission process.

Students with 65-75 marks out of 120 will have a fair chance of getting admissions through VITEEE 2023. The cutoff for admissions will be prepared based on various factors related to the entrance exam. However, it is to be noted that only those candidates who secure a rank of up to 1 Lacs will be eligible for admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses. Those students with a rank above 1 Lacs will be able to apply for admissions into the VIT Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal campuses.

The total tuition fee for VIT Vellore BTech ranges between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh. The total course fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000 as well. The fee will vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates. BTech is available in 24 specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics), Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. The application fee is INR 1350.

Yes, admission to BTech course is based on VITEEE score. Hence, only students with a valid exam score get a seat in this course. VITEEE is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hour 30 minutes. The paper, includes five sections, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English and, includes a total of 125 questions. The difficulty level of the VITEEE exam is moderate compared to other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. 

Students, who prepare for JEE Main exam usually, find it easier to crack VITEEE, as this exam does not have any negative marking. However, the syllabus of the VITEEE exam varies every year.
