VIT Amaravati does offer BTech in Computer Science Engineering. The BTech course is further available in sub-specialisations such as CSE (Data Analytics), CSE (Robotics), CSE (Artificial Intelligence), and CSE (Networking and Security). To secure BTech admission candidates should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. For BTech admission candidates must also have VITEEE score. 

The BTech fee at VIT Andhra Pradesh University range from  INR 4.9 Lacs to INR 7.8 lakh. Which includes multiple other fee components such as caution deposit of INR 3,000 that is refudable. Further, candidates willing to apply for th hostle seat at the university must pay an amount ranging from INR 4.34 Lacs to INR 5.73 lakh. BTech is one of the most popular courses of VIT Andhra Pradesh University. When it comes to placements, the University offers decent placements annually. The Vellore Institute of Technology (AP)'s flagship programme is BTech. VIT Amaravati provides full-time BTech programmes in three specialisations: computer science, electronics and communication, and mechanical. Furthermore, the university provides five sub-specialisations under BTech (CSE) and three under BTech (ECE). BTech courses last four years. Students who complete the BTech degree at VIT Andhra Pradesh University will be able to tackle real-world challenges using modern engineering and digital techniques. BTech also provides a platform for practical and application-oriented learning, which leads to career and business opportunities. BTech admission is determined by a genuine VITEEE rank (calculated using a system-generated algorithm based on Class 12 marks).

The course fee of the BTech programme offered at VIT Amaravati ranges between INR 4.9 Lacs and INR 7.8 lakh. The university offers a wide range of courses to students at UG, PG, and PhD levels. The university is mainly concerned with streams such as Engineering, Business and Management,  Law, Humanities,  Science, etc. At the UG level, the university offers a 4-year full-time BTech programme across several specialisations such as Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, etc. At the PG level, the college offers an MTech programme in the full-time mode for 2 years.

The average package offered during VIT AP placements 2025 is yet to be released. However, the students secured various dream offers of INR 6 LPA, Super Dream offers of INR 10 LPA and Marquee offers of INR 20 LPA and above in the academic year 2024-25.

VIT Andhra Pradesh has a good record of placements. The placement percentage has not been released on the official website. In 2025, over 620 recruiters visited the campus and placed 10025 students. 12571 offers were made including dream, super dream and regular offers. The highest package offered to the batch 2025 stood at INR 1 Cr per annum. 

The VIT-AP EAMCET Cutoff 2023 ranged between 1930 and 9255 for different B.Tech courses, among which B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive one. The Last-Round Cutoff rank for CSE closed at 1930. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS Quota. The least competitive course among all was B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with the Cutoff rank of 9255. Therefore, the minimum rank to seek admission in VIT-AP is 9255. 

A total of 10025 students were placed during VIT Andhra Pradesh placement 2025. The students also received 12571 offers from 620 participating recruiters. Some of the top companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Motorq, etc.  

The placement package details have not been disclosed on the official website. Some details are available on Shiksha students review page. As per that, the highest salary offered to the students in recent placements was INR 63 LPA. The average salary offered was INR 7.3 LPA.
