VIT Vellore BBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
VIT Vellore via its VIT Business School offers a three-year full-time BBA course at the UG level. VIT Vellore BBA is designed with the CAL method, which facilitates the completion of professional certificates such as ACCA along with the respective degree. The course curriculum of this programme is distributed among six semesters of six months each, which also includes soft-skills training.
Eligibility: A pass in Class 12 with at least 65% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST and others) with Commerce /Accountancy /Book Keeping and Accountancy /Mathematics /Business Maths & Statistics /Business Studies /Business Management /Business Economics /Economics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination is required to apply for the BBA course.

The total tuition fee for VIT Vellore BTech ranges between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh. The total course fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000 as well. The fee will vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates. BTech is available in 24 specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics), Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. The application fee is INR 1350.

The mode of application is online for all courses. The application fee to be paid is 600. Below is the VIT Vellore BBA admission process:
1: Visit the official website of VIT Vellore, www.vit.ac.in/. Head to the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'PG Programmes'.
2: Register by addressing all the registration details as shown in the below snip:
4: Fill out the remaining application form by addressing guardian details, address of communication, academic qualifications, etc. An application number will be generated that has to be saved for future reference.
5: Pay an application fee of 600.
6: Upload scanned photograph and signature along with other documents as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities. Click on final submission once done.

The institute conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for M.Tech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. The institute accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc., for MBA course. However, admission to a few other courses, including BSc, BSc (Hons), BCA, BCom, MSc, MCA, among others, is based on the aggregate obtained by the candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam (merit-based). After passing the entrance exam, aspirants are called further rounds of selection. Shortlisted aspirants need to come for counselling and document verification round.
VITEEE cut off 2025 will be released soon for admission to the VIT Vellore B.Tech courses. However, the authorities will not release the VIT Vellore VITEEE 2025 cutoff online and will only make it accessible to candidates who appeared for the entrance exam.

The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam was scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. Applicants had to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.
Entrance exam is not required for admission to BBA in VIT Vellore, as the admission is entirely merit based and counselling. Also candidates have to be eligible- Class 12 with at least 65% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST and others) with Commerce /Accountancy /Book Keeping and Accountancy /Mathematics /Business Maths & Statistics /Business Studies /Business Management /Business Economics /Economics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination
The institute shortlists candidates for MBA course based on national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT or ATMA. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection. Candidates who have passed regular, full-time UG/ Integrated degree from a recognised institute/ university of at least three years of duration with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) can apply for the MBA course. After the completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling. Selected aspirants need to pay a fee to confirm their admission. The official VITEEE 2026 dates will be released soon. The schedule should be checked regularly so that the students can be updated with the important examination and admission events. If any date is changed or postponed, the authorities will announce it online. Therefore, the candidates are advised to remain updated with the VIT 2026 schedule at the official website.
Candidates will be able to access their VITEEE result online at vit.ac.in. To download the VITEEE result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the VIT result.
