Good placement in 2024, good opportunities, but limited edition.
Placements: I think around 80 to 90 percent are getting placed in my course, actually. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Microsoft, and Virtusa. The highest packages are around 30 to 40 LPA, and the lowest are around 4 to 6 LPA. Placement competition is very high, so I gave only 4 stars.
Infrastructure: We won't get good internet around colleges. Some labs are good, like the Physics lab, but others need better maintenance. Like, a 20 percent lab system will not work properly. The library is one of the best libraries, and all kinds of books are available. The infrastructure of the classroom is also good.
Faculty: The curriculum is getting updated year by year, which is not bad. But some of the faculty members are too worse in that college, they give marks to only North Indians. Some used to fail. But most faculty members are too friendly. We don't get a lot of time between internal exams. So it may be tough. Some subjects are irrelevant to courses. But subjects are relevant.
Other: Literally, events are massive here. We can enjoy a lot. Extracurricular activities are encouraged here. We can't say anything bad about events and fests. They always encourage our ideas.

Not a good placement year at VIT, but it is average, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: This is the main thing to consider, whether to join the institute or not. As of 2026, placements in VIT are average, but if you are a hard worker and you can stand in this big crowd, you can definitely get a good placement. Coming to the highest package, it's 1 crore by Motorq and the lowest I can say 3.46 by TCS for the ninja category. Most companies recruit for Software Developer roles and then Data Analyst roles, and some AI engineer roles.
Infrastructure: No doubt about the infrastructure, it is 5-star here. So VIT provides good Wi-Fi connections, labs for respective subjects, classrooms and a library, which are so good. Coming to hostel facilities, the hostel is awesome with care. The food served here is good and hygienic. Actually, we have many caterers who take care of the mess. We have 24/7 medical facilities here. We have a big outdoor stadium equipped for the college to play cricket, football and other sports like Volleyball, Tennis, and Basketball. We have many courts available here.
Faculty: Faculty, I say it's good. Curriculum, when I joined, was 2022. The curriculum was okay at that time, but it is the year when AI is booming, so they haven't gone for any changes, but now they have made some good curriculum where students can withstand and compete globally. Coming to the exam, it's average that one can prepare for exams before the exam, but caution if you can revise the total syllabus in one go, otherwise you will have an arrear.
Other: As I am from the passing-out batch, it is natural to feel somewhat sad because this is the end of the college phase of my life. But I have many memories that make me happy. I chose Computer Science Engineering with Information Security. One of the best things about this course is that it is an evolving field. It comes under the cyber domain. When it comes to placements, I feel that we were ignored whenever companies came for recruitment in the cyber domain.

I said all about my university, and now you have to pay me up.
Placements: I genuinely have no idea about the current highest package, but I know something about the average for my course, it is 9 LPA. That’s what I know, and companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and Google, and others, are like the top, but the placements are average only.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is so good that you cannot even download a PDF, as the classrooms are hot and burning people every day in the summer. Only a few fans are available. Labs are good, but the real deal is to manage the food and bulking up because the quality is good and the quantity is bad, and it’s the inverse in the other mess.
Faculty: Copying is possible in the exams. Itis not a good college for non-copying average students. Semester exams are not that hard, like JEE or NEET questions, but manageable. We have to do other projects and stuff at the same pace as the exams too. Teachers are mid. The curriculum has no connection with jobs.

VIT has the best opportunities to grow in life.
Placements: Only 1 student got placed last year. The highest, the lowest, and the average package offered are the same, i.e., 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Hindustan Unilever and Reliance hire students from the college. 99 percent of students get internships, as it is compulsory here. Top roles offered are process engineer and plant manager after years of experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is excellent. It offers the best hostel, medium food, and good Wi-Fi. Gaming is not that easy with Wi-Fi, but it gets the job done. There are many games like table tennis, badminton, swimming, football, cricket, squash, and volleyball.
Faculty: All faculty members are PhD holders. In our department, most of the faculty members are from IITs. Their teaching quality is the best. Students become industry-ready as they have to do internships compulsorily. Guest lectures happen often, and at least 14 to 15 times a year. End-semester exams are dependent on the faculty members we take. Chances of getting a backlog in a subject are quite low, as we have a chance to make up for it once.

VIT is a good college that gives you a lot of exposure.
Placements: There's a good placement rate. The highest package is 26 LPA (top UG management offer). The average package is 4.5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest or starting package is 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies. 90 percent of students get internships here. Roles offered are Business Analyst, and Marketing Executive.
Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure of my campus are very good, but the Wi-Fi is kind of slow, which is quite an issue, rest of it is also fine. The hostel facilities are good, but the mess can be an issue for students who are living in the hostels.
Faculty: Faculty here are well qualified and knowledgeable with years of experience. Classes here are very interactive and informative. It also makes the student gain confidence for placement. 80-90 percent is the approximate pass percentage, maybe it can vary.

It does not support sports or other activities.
Placements: Companies around Chennai, Bangalore, and Vellore offer part-time internships and full-time job offers in their organisations with suitable pay based on the skills and experience acquired. Possible companies like Chargebee, Sify Technologies, Pyramidion Solutions, Microsoft, Worth Solutions, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Courses are isolated from one another, even with their academic blocks, but students are united by the hostel accommodation and events like fests and cultural events, which are organised once a year. Interests in sports and other activities other than studies are not supported.
Faculty: Faculty members are not only specialised in concepts like operating systems, database management, and programming, but also well known for courses like data science, machine learning, and everything. They made us bloom like a flower by providing the required known worth of the fee that we are paying.
