VIT Vellore BArch Eligibility & Highlights 2026
VIT Vellore offers a full-time BArch programme under the V-SPARC School of Architecture for a duration of five years. The programme is approved by the Council of Architecture (CoA). Admission to this course is based on a valid NATA score. The shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling (virtual or physical) during which candidates undergo GDPI/ Skill Test. VIT Vellore prepares a final merit list on the basis of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test. Given below is the minimum eligibility criteria of the programme:

In some cases, yes, students can get admission in VIT Vellore without appearing for entrance test. The university does not require any entrance test for BBA, BCA, and BCom courses. VIT Vellore offers scholarships in the form of tuition waivers and freeships. While merit scholarships are awarded to class toppers, economically challenged students are provided need-based financial assistance. Furthermore, NRI and foreign students are given scholarships upon presenting meritorious records. No, VIT Vellore admissions are not solely based on VITEEE. The university conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for MTech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. The institute accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc., for MBA course.
