Yes, VIT Vellore's BArch programme aims at graduating students into fully equipped professionals ready for real-world challenges. The Deemed University organises student exchange programmes with leading universities from Europe, the USA, Australia and Asia for BArch students. As far as placements are concerned, it offers 100% placements to top core companies. 

Admission to VIT Vellore BArch programme is based on a valid NATA score. The shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling (virtual or physical) during which candidates undergo GDPI/ Skill Test. VIT Vellore prepares a final merit list on the basis of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

No, VIT Vellore does not offer direct admission to BArch programme based on Class 12 scores. Candidates need to possess a valid NATA score to apply. However, the final selection of students subjects to the cumulative calculation of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

The CSE placements at VIT Vellore is good. According to the the unofficial online sources, the VIT Vellore CSE avearge package secured by BTech batch 2025 stood at INR 8.13 LPA. The median package offered was INR 6 LPA. A total of 315 CSE students secured the salary of more than INR 20 LPA. Some of the top hiring recruiters for CSE batch 2025 include Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc.

For that in the non-core branches, you have to secure under 50k rank and if you want to take admission in core branches then you have to secure under 10k rank. For CSE, you have to score under 1k and for ECE under 5k rank.

It is noticed that all those colleges or universities that enter into collaboration have boosted the skills of the students through their workshops, student and faculty exchange programmes, and others. Students with 65-75 marks out of 120 will have a fair chance of getting admissions through VITEEE 2023. The cutoff for admissions will be prepared based on various factors related to the entrance exam. However, it is to be noted that only those candidates who secure a rank of up to 1 Lacs will be eligible for admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses. Those students with a rank above 1 Lacs will be able to apply for admissions into the VIT Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal campuses.

Vellore Institute of Technology offers 66 UG, 58 PG, 15 integrated and two each of Research and M.Tech (Industrial) courses across multiple streams. The top courses of the institute, include BTech, MTech, MBA, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses and graduation is necessary to apply for the PG courses. Eligible aspirants can apply for VIT admission. The institute conducts VITEEE for BTech admission,  VITMEE for M.Tech and VITREE for PhD admission.
