VIT Vellore offers a Master of Social Work (MSW) programme via its School of Social Sciences and Languages (SSL). The course is extended in the full-time mode, over a duration of two years. Admission to VIT Vellore MSW programme is based on candidates' performance in previous qualifying degree/exam, followed by a counselling round for seat allotment, conducted by the Deemed University. Candidates are called for counselling in the order of merit based on the UG aggregate. The final selection of candidates depends on the cut-off fixed on the merit list and the availability of seats.

The total tuition fee for VIT Vellore BTech ranges between INR 4.9 lakh and 7.8 lakh. The total course fee, includes a caution deposit of INR 3,000 as well. The fee will vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates. BTech is available in 24 specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering (Bioinformatics), Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, etc. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The institute conducts VITEEE for BTech admission, VITMEE for M.Tech admissions and VITREE for PhD admission. VIT Vellore accepts CAT percentile, NMAT score and MAT percentile for admission to the MBA programme. The table given below consists of the last round closing percentile for admisison to MBA among the OBC candidates in 2024:
