Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) releases admit cards for its entrance exam, IPU CET, and for its semester exams. Candidates interested in downloading the IPU admit card can do so with the help of their application number and date of birth on the official login portal. The admit card issued by GGSIPU is an important document on exam day. No candidate is allowed to sit for the examination without it.
IPU admit card for IPU CET 2025 is generally released in April of the current academic year, as per the past year's schedule. Indraprastha University BTech admission is done on the basis of a valid score of JEE Main or CUET. The university offers BTech for four-years divided into eight semesters. The IPU BTech course selection is done by a centralised counselling of the course.
Candidates need to appear for the IPU CET entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for BBA. Further, students must have to follow a seat allotment process via IPU CET Counselling. GGSIPU now also accept CUET-UG scores for admission to this UG course. Interested candidates need to apply offline by paying the requisite fee of INR 2,500.
No, GGSIPU doesn't offer direct admission. IP University does not allow any of the affiliated colleges/institutes/agencies to grant direct admission to any of the courses of the university.
Candidates must pass graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for MBA at GGSIPU. Aspirants should also have score in CUET-PG, CET, CAT or CMAT. Shortlisted candidates also need to participate in selection rounds for admission in MBA course.
How to download the IPU Admit Card 2025?
Candidates appearing for the IPU CET exam or any of the accepted exams need to have a valid exam hall ticket. Entry without this document is not permitted. The steps to be followed for downloading the IPU CET/internal/practical exam admit card are mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the IPU official website (ipu.ac.in).
Step 2: Enter the application number and date of birth to log in.
Step 3: After logging in, the admit card shall be displayed on the screen.

Things to check on IPU Admit Card 2025
Before and after downloading the GGSIPU admit card, candidates must check all the details on it. In case of any discrepancy, the same should be reported immediately. Candidates appearing for the IPU CET exam need to follow the exam day guidelines. Some of the key pointers for the candidates are mentioned below:
- No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall without an admit card.
- Entry into the exam hall is given 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam
- The candidate should have a photo ID with them along with the hall ticket.
- No mobile phone or other electronic gadget should be taken inside the exam hall.
- After getting the question paper, students shall check that they have the correct question paper.
- If the photo on the admit card is not clear, the student should paste a duly attested photograph from the concerned principal/gazetted officer and bring a valid photo ID as well.
