Mystory@Hardeepak Singh

I was facing a lot of financial problems when I was in college. I used to work as a waiter in a hotel on Saturday nights where I was paid Rs 250 per night – this money was extremely important to me as this was the only source through which I could pay my college fee.

My college was 15kms away from my home, and during those days my cycle was my best friend. Furthermore, since I had to cycle around 30 kms every day, I was physically fit. When I was in my final year of college my teacher told me that college life was a peaceful phase of life, but one has to face a lot of challenges once they are out of college. It is then that everyone starts running behind money, fame and a luxurious life, and only then one starts missing college life.

When I appeared for my first job interview after graduation, I clearly told the interviewer that I had a problem in English speaking, but truthfulness and honesty were my best traits. My desire to work landed me in Colgate palmolive India Ltd. where I started my career as a Sales Representative.
