Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's NIT Jalandhar cutoff 2017 was released by the JoSAA, governed under the Council of National Institutes of Technology, Science, Education, and Research (NITSER).  There were several categories in which cutoffs were released: All India and All India Female; Home State and Home State Female. The cutoffs for the first and last rounds under the General All India Category for the CSE were 7285 and 9117, respectively. For the General All India Female Category, the cutoffs for the First and Last rounds were 3139 and 3614, respectively, for the CSE branch specifically.

As per the NIT Jalandhar category-wise cutoff of 2017, the PWD AI category candidates were subjected to significant competition due to the limited number of ranks. A:

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Jalandhar has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 11547. In 2023, it decreased to 11017. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 16506 to 3741 for OBC 40521 to 2088 for SC 67395 to 778 for ST 13749 to 1766 for EWS 262 to 271 for PWD.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. NIT Jalandhar cutoff 2023 for Round 2 was released on July 16. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 31978 and the closing rank was 47996 for NIT Jalandhar. The cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state.
