NIT Meghalaya Cutoff 2021: Check Category-Wise JEE Main Cutoff Ranks

NIT Meghalaya accepts GATE score for admission to the M.Tech courses. As per the NIT Meghalaya M.Tech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for M.Tech ranged between 356 and 424, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. For a few of the M.Tech sepcialisations, the cutoff stands closed after Round 1, 2 and 3. As per the last year cutoff data, the minimum GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya was 356 for M.Tech in CSE.

To get a seat at NIT Meghalaya for BTech specialisations, candidate must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the first round. As per the cutoff for the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 19623 and 44560. Looking at the cutoff ranks, it can be said that getting admission to NIT Meghalaya at 40000 rank is easy. Though the choice of specialisation would be limited at this rank. As per the round 3 of JEE Main cutoff 2025, it is possible to get admission to NIT Raipur with a rank of 45000 in JEE Main. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was closed at 22131 and 48977. Looking at the cutoff range, it was evident that getting admission at 45000 rank is possible, among the General AI category candidates. 

The NIT Meghalaya MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 1321 and 1662 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Meghalaya must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various BTech course specialisations. 

For the OBC AI quota, the last round cutoff rank varied between 38843 and 88086, wherein BTech CSE and BTech in Civil Engineering were the most and least competitive branches, respectively. The NIT Meghalaya GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff scores for various M.Tech courses ranged between 352 and 492, for the General AI category candidates. The Cutoff score of CSE, the most competitive course, stood at 492. Therefore, candidates with the Cutoff score of 500 can get M.Tech in CSE at  NIT Meghalaya.

For 2025 admission, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 1384 and 1686 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MSc specialisations, the one with the lowest cutoff rank of 1384 was the MSc in Mathematics. NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 has been released for the round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech and BArch courses, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 22131 and 48977. The  most desired course among the General AI category candidates was BArch. In the BTech specialisations, the most desirable specialisation turned out to be CSE. 

 NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2026 was published for the first round for admission to several BTech course specialisations. The cutoff was published for different AI and HS quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the BTech CSE branch was 23809. Students can see the table below to know the cutoff for all other categories. 

NIT Meghalaya JEE Main Round 6 cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 19175 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in NIT Meghalaya. 

The 2023 cutoff for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was 25978, which was the least competetive specialisations offered by NIT Nagaland.  The cutoff for the year 2022 was 17921 and for the year 2021 it was 24041. As per the date it concludes that cutoff for 2023 is higher compare to the previous two years, which indicates the rise in demand of the CSE course.

NIT Meghalaya BTech 2023 cutoff has been released . Tabulated below are the CSAB SR1 closing ranks for NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2023 along with 2022 and 2021 for the General category students, to get clarity on past year trends:

NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 35937. For the General AI category students, the JEE Main last round closing ranks varied between 35937 and 81562, with B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering being the most competitive branch for admission. 

The NIT Meghalaya GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff scores ranged between 352 and 492. The most competitive course was CSE among all. The Cutoff score for CSE was 492, for the General AI category candidates. Therefore, candidate with the Cutoff score of 450 cannot get M.Tech in CSE at NIT Meghalaya. 

For the OBC AI category candidates, the most competitive course was CSE with the Cutoff of 423. Therefore candidate falling under OBC AI category getting a score of 450 can get M.Tech in CSE at NIT Meghalaya. 

NIT Meghalaya Admission 2024 to M.Tech programme is entirely based on GATE exam. Candidates have to qualify the GATE cutoff which is based on certain factors like total number of available seats, the number of candidates appeared in the exam, marks obtained by the candidates. Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Meghalaya BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. The JEE Main registraton has closed for now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification.
