It is a college that gives life.
Placements: Placements are good. The highest package reached 27 LPA, and the average packages are around 4 to 8 LPA. This indicates strong industry connections for engineering and technology students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is limited, as the signal is often low. The campus offers robust infrastructure, including a green campus, modern labs, a library, sports facilities, a gym, a hospital, banks, and good transport. Hostel rooms are available in 2-sharing and some 4-sharing.
Faculty: There are three midterms, which are hectic. Professors are very experienced. Exams are rigorous, involving internal assessments and end-of-semester tests. Selection is typically based on merit in the JEE and intermediate examinations.
Other: Campus is situated on 300 acres. Campus life is marked by a strict dress code and disciplined environment. They often designed for parents’ comfort rather than student freedom. This creates mixed feelings about creativity and personal expression due to hierarchy and control. The university provides an industry-oriented curriculum and has good infrastructure.

Best for students' careers.
Placements: 100 percent placement for students without backlog. The package is 6 to 24 LPA. Accenture, Comcast, PayPal, Amazon, Caterpillar, and many more companies recruit. Max of the role is a software engineer and technical support based only, and also in a product role, they are hiring.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with the best classrooms and labs. Free Wi-Fi for only pc and laptops with some restrictions. In our hostel, there are 2 in 1, 3 in 1 and single rooms for both girls and boys, and also AC and non-AC rooms are available. 24/7, there is medical support on campus. Sports and games are there, but mainly focusing on academics only.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are IIT graduates with Ph.D. and also with several projects. They have a clear understanding of the industry and future demand, and they train students based on that demand. Exams are difficult only when compared to other universities, and paper evaluation is also not strict, and the faculty are so friendly. They will help you with doubts anytime.
Other: I took this department because of my own interest, and I got a lot of hands-on experience in it. Events and culturals are there, but not that big when compared to other universities.

It’s overhyped, but still better than other colleges in our state.
Placements: In the past, a good percentage of students got placed. But now, due to the IT slowdown and the rise of AI, placements are not as high as before. Those who have enough knowledge of the subjects still have good opportunities. I am not blaming the college for this, but students are also lacking the basic required grip on the subjects.
Infrastructure: It is not up to the mark as they claim, like being a world class university. It is just average for the fees they collect from us. They can upgrade and provide a better environment for us. There is no need to change much. Just replace basic required things like benches for sitting and some basic infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough, but the curriculum they are following is too old and not sufficient to compete in the present advanced world. I hope they will rectify this and use a better curriculum. The subjects they are following in the very first year are almost useless and senseless. They can provide the respective branch core or the basic required skills for students.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements in our college last year and about the faculty.
Placements: I am studying in computer science engineering course at SASTRA University. Above 75 percent of students have been placed. The average package of our branch is 8 LPA, and the highest package is 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Bajaj and Aerosol.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very well-equipped. We have a big library with hundreds of books. The building has many water purifiers for drinking water for students. The students have the facility of Wi-Fi in computer science laboratory and AC facility in laboratory.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-equipped with skills and technology. The curriculum followed in our college is very useful and helpful for students to gain knowledge. The system followed in our college is semester exam system, and exams are held as per semester.
Other: There are hardly one or two cultural events per year.

The college has very good infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: 85 percent of students are getting placed in our college, and the highest package is nearly 20 LPA in my course, while the least is 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are TCS, Ashok Leyland, and Infotech, and 40 percent of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every classroom of our college, and it is also available in the hostel rooms. Every lab is equipped with the required equipment, and the library is very large and of high quality. There are all sports grounds in the college, including volleyball, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful if we have more interaction with them. They are highly qualified, and the medium to high quality of teaching is good. It prepares the students for the industry. Semester exams are tough when compared to other colleges or universities.
Other: There are very limited fests. Only a few events are held, and class timings are more extensive.

Satisfied because of the faculty and good placements in recent years.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed. The salary package offered is 29 LPA. The lowest salary package is 2.4 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships in the core and IT branches. Bosch, Rockwell Collins, Cisco, Caterpillar, Coreel, Cypress, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, L&T, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, these are the top companies that visited in the past years.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department, for example- Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. A better quality of the facilities in your hostel. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen. The college provides medical, sports, and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant mostly practically, as students learn together in labs. The level of difficulty is moderate when studying one day before, as you can't get good grades.
Other: An ECE-focused post indicates about 50% placement for core roles and coding/IT roles, with approximately 100 ECE students placed in a batch. Another comment suggests that only a smaller number of core recruiters visit for ECE, making coding roles more common.
