Assam CEE 2026 Exam Date (OUT): Check Registration, Exam, Result, Admission Dates

Assam CEE admit card will be released on May 26. Candidates can download their admit card using their application number and password. At the centre, candidates will have to bring their admit card.

The authorities will release Assam CEE admit card online at astu.ac.in. Candidates will have to log in using their application form number and password to access the Assam CEE admit card. No other mode will be used by the authorities to make the Assam CEE hall ticket available. All registered candidates will have to access and download the admit card of Assam CEE to gain entry into the exam centre and attempt the paper.

Candidates should sign on the Assam CEE admit card only in the presence of the invigilator at the centre. Admit card should not be signed in advance to avoid any problems. Instructions on the Assam CEE admit card should be read and strictly followed to avoid any problems at the exam centres.

Level of Assam CEE will be similar to 12th class qualifying exam. If candidates are prepared for board exams, they will be prepared for Assam CEE too. In comparison to national level exam such as JEE Main, Assam CEE is considered easier.

Authorities will conduct Assam CEE at various cities across state. Exam centres will be located in nine cities, Guwahati, Jorhat, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Bongaigaon, Lakhimpur, Tezpur and Nalbari. While filling Assam CEE application form, candidates will be able to select their preferred exam cities. As per preferences, authorities will allot Assam CEE exam centres and candidates will be able to check it on admit card.

Candidates will be able to raise objections against the provisional Assam CEE answer key online at astu.ac.in. To access the objection facility, the candidates will have to login using their application number. Along with the objections, the candidates will also have to submit the corresponding proof. For every objection, the candidates will have to pay INR 300 online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. It is to be noted that the fee will be refunded if the objection is accepted.

Assam CEE 2026 final answer key date has not been released yet. After objections against provisional answer key are submitted, final Assam CEE answer key is prepared. To know if there have been any changes in responses, candidates should check final answer key of Assam CEE.

Assam CEE merit list may be released online. Authorities will prepare merit list based on Assam CEE result to select candidates for admissions. Along with ranks obtained in exam, authorities will also consider different factors to prepare merit list. Based on merit list, candidates will be allotted into their preferences.

If the candidates fail to qualify Assam CEE then they should not feel discouraged. As long as minimum eligibility criteria is met, candidates will be able to apply and attempt Assam CEE next year.

Assam CEE counselling will be conducted by the authorities of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam. Since  Assam Science & Technological University (ASTU) is only responsible for the application, examination and result process, DTE will be responsible for the counselling and seat allotment process. All details regarding the Assam CEE counselling will be prepared and released by the authorities of DTE Assam online.

The official date for commencement of classes for qualified Assam CEE candidates has not been announced. After counselling is over, candidates will be informed about class commencement date. On date of  commencement of classes, candidates will have to report to institute and attend classes.

Assam CEE application last date has been announced. Candidates had to submit application form before April 3, otherwise they were not allowed to participate in admission. Assam CEE application form was available online. No other mode of application was available.

The authorities will provide candidates with facility to check their Assam CEE application form status. After knowing their application form status, candidates can check their application progress and accordingly make the corrections, if required.

There will be no breaks in between Assam CEE examination. Students will be given 3 hours to complete examination without any break. Question paper will have objective problems from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Assam CEE will be held in English and Assamese. Question paper will be available in both languages so that students can choose their preference during exam. This is to help them avoid any problems in understanding question paper.
