B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
1.8
Nothing is good here, faculty, placements, college life, and campus.
Placements: The average package is 2.5 LPA, and only services and sales-based companies visit the campus. Most seniors blame the college for not getting placed. Neither TCS nor Accenture will visit the campus from 2025. Some sales companies hire students for BPO jobs.
Infrastructure: The campus is under construction. It is small, and the canteen is horrible. There is no space to bunk classes and sit with friends. The campus is fully crowded. The student's behavior is often rude. Illiterate people are the majority on this campus. Even to date, they teach nothing for life or placements. The classes are old, with no innovation in infrastructure. Only the admission department looks cozy.
Faculty: Even the lecturers who graduated from the same college teach us here. It has MCA, MBA, BCA, and BE programs, but nothing feels worth it here. Faculty behavior is the worst. If you can accommodate in Tamil, then there is free space for you. Teachers of CSE belong to the Tamil community. Most of them show concern only for students who speak in Tamil.
Other: The management fee for CSE is 1.5 LPA. Just don’t join here if the cost is higher. It is not worth the money.

It is a waste of time with long and exhausting classes and no good placements.
Placements: I am not sure about placements but I have heard it is really bad. Very few companies visit the college for placement. Packages are low. Very few students get placed. They do online interviews that are not really good. We are not even prepared properly on how to crack a job. Codeyoung is the only recruiting company, that I have heard gives good placements.
Infrastructure: It has very bad facilities. Labs are really small. Chairs in the lab are very comfortable. Classrooms also are very comfortable. There is no proper airflow, and fans barely give any air. It is especially bad during summer. There is literally no first aid. Lifts stop working from time to time and we have to walk multiple floors. The drinking water is hygienic. We will be dehydrated but there will be no water to drink. Washrooms also don't have a water supply many times.
Faculty: There are only a few really good teachers. The rest don't teach anything. But they just force us to sit in class for Attendance. It is such a waste of time because we could rather be learning something more useful than sitting in a class and listening to nothing useful. We have no exposure to the real industry. They don't keep us informed about anything.
Other: We should have more hands-on experiences rather than sit in class and read the notes given to us. The assignments could be reduced because everyone just copies them. It doesn't matter to anyone, it doesn't help anyone. They should teach us more about interviews and jobs rather than just teaching theory.

Disappointing experience and bad faculty support.
Placements: Placements are pathetic. In my department, there are 150 students and out of them, a maximum of 10-12 of them got placed in technical companies. Rest around 15-20 got placed in non-technical companies. They are not from the technical field. The college brought only 4-5 technical company roles. The rest all are non-technical roles. The highest package is 7 LPA. THe lowest is 2 LPA. In my department, Codeyoung only hires students more. There are no companies that came for internship roles. Only final-year placements are there after the 6th semester. The top role is an assistant software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is only 1 building of 7 floors. It looks like a lego building block. Wi-Fi is there but it is very difficult to get access to it. It takes too much paperwork. Labs are okay, but systems are with old software. Classes are also okay. The library is quite good. The hostel is very bad. Small rooms and bathrooms are there. The mess food is terrible. There is no gym facility. The medical system is bad here. It has an average size of ground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers do not have any technical knowledge. They are only M.Tech pass. Young teachers are there and keep on changing the teachers. Some professors are there who have been in the teaching line for a long but still, they do not have knowledge. The course curriculum is worse, there is only theoretical knowledge, no practical knowledge. No use of all the syllabus. The internal exam is very easy and teachers provide important questions for it. End-semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I enrolled in the CSE branch in 2022, choosing this because of its relevance in today's tech-driven era. The best part of this is undoubtedly the career opportunities it provides, but I feel the technical syllabus needs improvement. The campus life, however, has been disappointing as there are no major fests or events. Only very small department=wise fests are held. The crowd is limited, resembling a tier 3 city environment. The campus surroundings are also lacking. There is little to no emphasis on extracurricular activities or industry exposure.

Good staff, good infrastructure, and well-equipped labs.
Placements: 75% of students get placed in our course. The highest package was 35 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Our top recruiting company is Byju's. There are no company internships in our course, as everyone is doing the Skill India government internship. The top role offered in our course is MTech.
Infrastructure: Our department provides free Wi-Fi for every student, and you must register with your USN. The Wi-Fi limit is 2GB per month. Our department labs are excellent, and every classroom has a smart board. There's a very good library with plenty of seating for reading, as well as a separate discussion room. The hostels are well-maintained, and the food quality is very good. Hostel students get three meals a day, and there’s a separate medical room for treatment. There's a big ground for students to play their favorite games, along with both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They teach well and guide students when needed. Teachers ensure that every student excels in reading, writing, communication skills, and other important areas to make them industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult, and teachers give assignments that include important questions to help students pass. No one has failed in the exams, and the passing percentage is 100%.
Other: Computer Science Engineering is a great course and is leading in engineering professions. The course teaches us how to thrive in the industry and make ourselves valuable. We should learn from everyone in college and take on as many internships as possible. Attending festivals and activities organized by the college is a great way to learn new things.

College has good infrastructure and motivates the students to study.
Placements: Nearly 60% of students get placed in our department; the highest package is 12 lakhs, the lowest package is 2 lakhs, and the average package is 3 to 6 lakhs. Only a small number of companies will come to our college, and student with technical skills get placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good; they provide us free WIFI, and the classrooms are tidy. The library provides us with good study facilities and has IEEE research papers available. The canteen of our college is having good food, and it is clean.
Faculty: The teaching and faculties are good; they provide more knowledge about training and placements to the company. The course curriculum is very relevant and helps the students get ready for the placements. The examination is conducted by the VTU, and the corrections are also done by the VTU.
Other: Once a year there will be a fest conducted for two weeks; it mainly focuses on sports and other curriculum activities. I wanted to pursue Computer Science and Engineering, so I joined this course. The college infrastructure is very good, and they are very supportive, which helps to get placements in the software companies.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Good placements will be there.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Flipkart, Accenture, Siemens, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. The percentage of students placed in our college is more than 80 percent. The highest package offered is 12 Lacs per annum, the lowest package offered is 3 Lacs per annum, and the average package offered is 7 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility will be there. Lab infrastructure is very good, and in every lab there are more than 50 computers; in every classroom, a projector will be there; and wide space is there. The hostel is so good and there will be many opportunities for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to students, and they are supportive for students by providing extra information about the real-world industry. Some courses are really helpful to students to gain knowledge, and some courses are really good for the students to get ready for industry. The semester exam will not be so tough; it will be easy only.

The college infrastructure is awesome and placement has also been good in our college.
Placements: A minimum of 70% of students were placed in this course. The average package is 3 LPA and the highest package is up to 15 LPA for this course. The top companies that came to our college are Tech Mahindra, Accenture, TCS and HP. The maximum role offered for the course is software engineer or software developer.
Infrastructure: In our hostel, we have facilities like 24*7 Wi-Fi with good internet and water facilities, and we also have a library for the students. In our mess, they give 3 times food and 1 time snacks with quality and hygienic food. There is also a medical facility available for students and many sports are also available for them.
Faculty: In our college, the faculty members are well trained and have better experience in the subjects and the teaching quality is also very good. All the teachers have a helping nature and are friendly with students. The course is relevant to the industry and it is helpful for students to gain knowledge about the course. Exams are not that difficult for us. We can easily clear the exams and the passing percentage is minimum of 35%.
Other: We chose this course because the scope of computer science is very high in the IT sector and we can easily learn it. There is nothing to improve in the course because everything is going correctly. In our college, they conduct 2-3 festivals in a year and one of the best festivals is Kalasourabha, which is conducted in the month of June or July every year. We can enjoy very happily. The campus has a maximum number of students. We can also get scholarship for the course from the government.

You can totally expect the quality of education you want.
Placements: We should have a minimum eligibility for sitting in a placement of 75%, and the highest package of salary is 24 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA in the computer science stream. I have come across many companies, like IBM, where students carrying above 75% got good placements, and companies for computer science course skills and talent data development cyber security cloud are offered top roles in my college.
Infrastructure: The facilities in my college are so well-equipped that they keep on updating the infrastructure every year once they all ensure that lab rooms and Wi-Fi are well connected to the students, which helps them to engage with the studies. Still, a deeper library plays an important role in my college, where we have a floor called the library on the 7th floor filled with all the books, textbooks, journals, and also the E library, which is so beneficial for students. We also have a hostel in our college, which is very well supported for students who travel by so long from their houses. The canteen is cleanly maintained up to the range of acceptance, and we have a so-called college ground for playing all kinds of games.
Faculty: The teachers and staff in our college are supportive if needed. They help with sorting out problems in various activities. They are up to the mark. The course we choose is really good because we have a lot of things we learn every day from college with teachers and other staff members. It also helps the students keep the industry ready. It is not dependent on college; it is dependent on students and how we take care of semester exams and studies, but at a certain point, VTU exams are tough enough to pass 40% of them.
Other: We have a very good college, and personally, I felt it was a good college because of their way of teaching the classrooms, and outside the classrooms, the festivals conducted in my college are the main thing we appreciate a lot. They are so engaging, and all the students are supportive, eligible, and also fully enthusiastic.

Hello, I hope you are doing well. The college is not showing any information related to JEE mains admission or any other entrance examination marks as a eligibility criteria so you can get the admission through 12th board marks. Go and apply directly to this college and reserve the seat.
