Review of Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai.
Placements: I belong to the 2026 batch of B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and am currently in my third year. Based on the current placements observed, around 85% of students from the 2024 and 2025 batches were placed, with the highest package at 32 LPA and the lowest at 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: We already know about the great infrastructure; we have amazing classrooms with AC facilities and a large library called Sail. Every room has Wi-Fi connectivity with a high-speed network. Hostelers enjoy excellent food in both the mess and the canteen.
Faculty: Most faculty members hold doctorates and are very supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is aligned with industry requirements and includes core subjects like system design and computer networks. Semester exams are moderately tough, and we have a module system to enhance coding knowledge.
Other: Campus life is active and vibrant, with students coming from various parts of the country. There are regular cultural fests and technical symposiums like hackathons and workshops.

Our college has very good infrastructure and gives you a good college experience.
Placements: About 94% of students were well-placed on campus for the CSE course. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Accenture, and Wipro along with a couple of more well-known companies. The highest salary package can go up to 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA - 4 LPA. More than 95% of the students can get internships from their 3rd year 6th semester onwards.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of campus is quite good. Almost all classrooms have projectors for digitalised learning. The majority of the classes are conducted in air-conditioned classrooms and seminar halls. The hostel facilities are good. There is a dining hall for hostellers which serves food three times a day. There is a canteen where students can grab something to eat whenever they like during the day. There is a super-specialty hospital that provides free consultations to college students.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good and digitalised. The majority of faculty members are well-versed in their fields, resulting in interesting lesson plans. The well-acknowledged part of the system is that we can choose our teachers and our timetable, which gives us a great deal of independence. Semester exams are fairly good and quite standardised. The pass percentage is 50%, which includes your entire semester's performance.
Other: Our first few semesters were drastically affected by COVID-19, i.e., we had a lot of gaps and breaks. Our academic year began online and continued to do so until our second semester ended. Once we were back in college, we hit the ground running. Various events and festivals are held. A lot of extra-curricular activities are undertaken by the college to make up for the lost time during our online sessions.

Satisfied but that much money is not worth it.
Placements: 90% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 36 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 Lacs LPA. Companies include JP Morgan, Juspay, Global AI, ValueLabs, BrowserStack, DevRev, Amazon, VTS Enterprises Ltd, Mr. Cooper, and others. About 60-70% of students secured internships in companies like TCS, Cognizant, etc., in roles such as data analyst, software developer, machine learning engineer, data engineer, and more.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and a library is available. Wi-Fi is reliable, and necessary labs are present, making the overall setup not bad. Hostel facilities are decent but not excellent. The quality of food is average, with canteens available on campus. Sports and recreation facilities are available if students are interested, and they can participate. Medical facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Some faculty members are quite knowledgeable and qualified, while others are not bad either. The teaching quality is generally good. Overall, the faculty is relevant; those with practical knowledge are capable. In our college, CSE is a better choice, though it can be stressful but satisfying. Over 80% of students pass, and with proper study, most can succeed.

The overall experience of the college was great, teachers always helped us.
Placements: Nearly 85% of students were placed in our course. In our college, most of the learners are placed with a minimum package of 3.5 LPA and a maximum package is 25 LPA, with an average of 5-6 LPA. Virtusa, Avasoft, CTS, Capgemini, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. About 85% of students got internships from our course in Infosys, Virtusa, etc. They offered new two courses.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities and infrastructure with Wi-Fi, and different labs for every subject. Around 35 learners per classroom, library with systems. There were all facilities in our hostel, gym, table tennis, etc., and eatable food in a hygienic place. We can use all indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is also good, teachers are always eager to help, and they solve our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. Our college industry makes the students' place. We have to write 3 internal tests before the semester exam, so it will make it easy to face semester exams. Our pass percentage is 50.
Other: Events, fests, and campus crowds are all arranged by management.

Placements: I took the AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) course from Saveetha Engineering College. Around 75%-80% of students in our course got placed. The highest package offered is approximately 10 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is about 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and some product-based companies like Capgemini and Zoho. Nearly 65% of students secured internships through campus drives and external platforms, in companies like TCS, Zoho, and Internshala startups. Top roles offered in our course are machine learning engineer, data analyst, software developer, AI intern, and Python developer.
Infrastructure: Saveetha Engineering College provides good infrastructure for the AIML department with Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a resourceful library.
