NIT Allahabad- Consider it.
Placements: About 90 percent of students got placed last year with an average package of 24 LPA and the highest was somewhat around 75 LPA. About 50 percent of students got internships on campus for majorly SDE roles, analyst roles, and consultancy. Placement is not an issue here as you get a lot of opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that bad but there has been improvement in the last 2 years. Classrooms have been converted into centralised AC rooms. The hostel rooms have LAN service which is okay. The mess food is not that good and sports facilities are good. Lawn tennis and basketball courts are there. The gym is there. There are two grounds for cricket and football.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty decent. The curriculum is somewhat outdated but there are some courses added like AI in core CSE. The semester exams are made pretty well but you can score well if you are prepared. College life is also decent here. The campus area is full of greenery.
Other: Choose CSE without any second thought. The coding culture is good here. For core placements you can explore other south-located NITs.

Good in placement for CSE.
Placements: So, talking about the percentage of students getting placed, in CSE, the placement rate is about 96% in 2025. The highest package was 72 LPA. Meanwhile, the average package is 27.72 LPA in 2025. Top recruiters are Oracle, Atlassian, Microsoft, and D.E. Shaw. Around 100 to 150 students got internships of which around 80% are from CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is below expectations. Classrooms are below average. The library and labs are good, though. The college provides internet through LAN in the hostel, which enables you to browse. No desktop apps, no games will run on LAN. In the first year, the hostel is good with good food quality and just a single canteen in the hostel itself. The college provides medical facilities where you can get free medicine if prescribed by a doctor and stamped. Sports and games are conducted by the athletic team.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the teaching quality is good. Some subjects, especially Maths, are tough for most of the students, and it's not easy to get good grades. It totally depends on the professor for relative or absolute grading. There are a few subjects we have to study apart from our course and from another department, and also some subjects not related to CSE. Semester exams are easy, though. Good scoring and grading are also good. The pass percentage for subjects except for mathematics is almost 100% in the first year.
Other: I chose this course in this college due to its high placement rate. Placements, especially for CSE, are better than many other national institutes. I would like the department to focus more on teaching subjects related to our department rather than others. Events are conducted frequently. There are a lot of opportunities to participate in many events. A lot to learn from the events. Like HACK 36 is a 36-hour hackathon which is conducted by our college. Similarly, many Aviskar is an event under which you can participate in teaching events. The college has its fest named Culrav every year.

College is good. Placement is only good for courses CSE and ECE.
Placements: 95-96 percent placement rate, but the average is good, it is around 28 LPA. The highest placement is 72 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and many more. About 60 percent or more than 60 percent get internships with a high salary.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is good, you get high-speed internet 24/7, and there will be 24/7 electricity, but the mess food is not so good, it is just okay for filling your stomach, but it is not tasty. The medical facility is good, you get Rs. 50,000 insurance per year, and sports activity is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but you will not understand what they teach, you have to study by yourself. If you have to survive in this college in academics, you have to study by yourself. Semesters are relevant to the industry, exams are difficult, and 33 percent is the passing mark.
Other: I chose this course because of the high job opportunities, and I have an interest in this field. There are very few events that happen in this college, only Culrav is the major fest that happens once a year.

Excellent and beautiful college.
Placements: 96 percent of students are placed in our course. 1.35 CPA, 20 LPA, and 29 LPA are the highest, lowest, and average packages offered in our course. The top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. 75 percent of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department are good. There are separate labs for each subject, a lot of classrooms are available, and a library is also present. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are all good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are of medium difficulty. The pass percentage is 85 percent.

College has old infrastructure and good placements, and sports facilities are good.
Placements: Placements at MNNIT are excellent. Around 83.29 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 72 LPA, the average package is 20.43 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Students got internships from Amazon, Google, Oracle, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outdated and requires renovation. Classroom benches are old, but classrooms have Wi-Fi. Labs are good but have low capacity; around 50 students study in one lab. The library is good, and Wi-Fi is available in the library. Hostel rooms are big, but four people live in one room. Toilets are not clean sometimes. Mess food is not good in taste. The college has a medical dispensary where medicines are free, and all types of doctors sit there. The college has a big ground but has fewer sports items like bats, balls, table tennis bats, etc.
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, some are rigid, but all are qualified and knowledgeable. In my curriculum, some subjects are not relevant to my branch. My branch is CSE, and they teach subjects like ethics and environment. Semester exams are moderate to difficult. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose B. Tech because placements are good in this college. My course is B. Tech, which focuses on technology and AI. Irrelevant subjects should be removed. The college conducts fests and events, which are good, and the college gives scholarships to poor students. In the college, there are extracurricular activities like cricket matches, inter-NIT matches, dance, drama, etc.

College is fine, placements are good. Campus life is decent.
Placements: Placement season is all around, and most of the seniors I know have been placed at the start of their final year. Top recruiting companies are often Goldman Sachs, and there are also second years who got internships this year. Some were doing GSoC. Since the beginning, there have been three major domains that one can go for: app development, web development, and AI/ML. App development has a somewhat lesser environment here, as most want to do either web development or AI/ML. Though there are students who are quite passionate about app development.
Infrastructure: The library is fine. It has a lot of books and online resources. The hostel for first years is also good. Don't believe people who want to be relatable. Hostel food and facilities are quite nice, the food is fine, and there are three food outlets on campus. The mess is pure veg, so it's a good option for those who don't want non-veg. Medical facilities are also good. There is an on-campus ambulance, and they also take us to hospitals outside, even at night, and medicines are free from the dispensary.
Faculty: Some teachers are more like professionals, but some have a genuine interest. You just have to pay attention, and they will solve your doubts. The course curriculum for CSE is relevant, as they start teaching AI, ML, and C in the first semester. Exams are fine. It's mostly dependent on who's making the paper.
Other: The infrastructure is average, though the college is old. There is a lot of greenery, but the classrooms are mid. Also, the campus is quite small, as most of the area is divided into girls' and boys' hostel areas.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, the faculty is good, but 75% attendance is mandatory.
Placements: In the Computer Science branch of MNNIT, around 96 percent of eligible students got placed. The highest package offered is 72 LPA while the average package is 27 LPA. The lowest package is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. 20-30 percent of students got internships in their pre-final year. Top roles are offered, including software developers, full-stack developers, data analysts, etc. Overall, good placement opportunities in MNNIT as in CSE.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure of classrooms and labs, including a good LAN connection in labs. Well-maintained library with over a thousand books for the course and other interests. The hostel for the first year is decent, LAN connections are available in all rooms. Only the vegetarian mess is present in the hostel, providing decent food. One canteen is in the hostel which is open late at night, and one stationery shop is also in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in the CSE department are highly qualified and experienced. Most hold a Ph.D. degree from a reputed institute with strong academic credentials. They are helpful and approachable if you are interested in learning. The teaching is good on the theoretical side and decent on the practical side also. Assignments and projects are heavy.
Other: I am interested in the CSE field. The best thing about the course is that it gives deep knowledge and exposure to many new things. Practical should be more focused rather than theory. Events and fests are very good in this college, and the coding culture is also.

Good placements. Good coding culture. Enough facilities to grant you a good college life.
Placements: I heard from my seniors that this year placements are going well and are better than last year. Almost all of the seniors in the CSE department are placed (about 30–40 out of 420 students are not placed). The highest package is about 75 LPA and the average is about 30 LPA. Not sure about the lowest package. Not sure about the internships, but all of the seniors with above 8.5 CPI have got internship offers.
Infrastructure: Almost all the classes are AC equipped. The library is of considerable size. College Wi-Fi gives about average speed. Lunch and dinner are just average, but breakfast is good. The canteen contains all the essential items. The college has many clubs for sports. Overall, 1st-year hostels are good, but 2nd- and 3rd-year hostels are not up to the mark.
Faculty: Teachers are more than qualified, but some of them are old. About 65 percent of the syllabus is related to my field, which would help us to get placements. Labs are available for developing our skills. Semester exams are not that tough, you just have to devote 2 hours per day for semester exams.
Other: There are many coding competitions here and also a good coding culture. Other branch students also do a lot of coding. CS students start C language and AIML from the 1st semester.
