Established in 1857, Mumbai University (MU) is a state-run institution, recognised by the UGC and accredited with an A++ grade by the NAAC.  The University of Mumbai (MU) releases multiple merit lists every year followed by a counselling and document verification process to offer admission to students in MU-affiliated colleges. Students need to first visit the official website of the college they applied to as each affiliated college releases its merit list on its own portal and then navigate to the “Admissions 2025–26” or  the 'Merit List' section which is  typically featured as a banner or in the latest announcements section.
