In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Divyansh talked about her CBSE 10th board exam preparation routine, his reaction to Class 10 CBSE results, tips for upcoming aspirants and more. CBSE Board Exams 2025 were conducted from February 15 to March 18, 2025. The Board announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2025 on May 13.

CBSE 10th Topper 2025 Divyansh Prakher Srivastava has secured 95%, i.e. a total of 475 marks in CBSE 10th Board Exams 2025 with utmost dedication and hard work. Divyansh, a student of Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, Meerut Road, aims to crack JEE exam and pursue BTech from Top Engineering institutes in India. In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Srivastava talked about his CBSE 10th board exam preparation routine, his reaction to Class 10 CBSE results, tips for upcoming aspirants and more.

CBSE Board Exams 2025 were conducted from February 15 to March 18, 2025. The Board announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2025 on May 13.

Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?

A: Yes, I was really excited and mostly glad the wait was finally over. After I saw my marks I had mixed feelings as I had scored well in the ones I didn't expect to.

I met my expectations and scored highest in Social Studies and English.

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.

A: My parents are both IT professionals working in Ericsson. My brother is 5 years old and is currently in senior kindergarten.

Q: Please tell me about the stream that you are targeting.

A: I want a science non-medical stream, PCM.

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?

A: It was only to read the NCERT book and understand it, and avoid wasting time on other platforms.

Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: None that were relevant for board examinations.

Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?

A: My friends and family were of great help to keep me motivated along the way.

Q: What was your routine during the CBSE board exam preparation?
A: I studied every evening consistently for around 4 hours a day.

Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?
A: I aim to get into IIT and excel in every area of life I meddle in.

Q: What is your favourite subject?
A: My favourite subject is Mathematics.

Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?

A: Yes, I am planning to prepare for JEE

Q: Please share some tips for students prepping to appear in CBSE Board Exams 2026
A. Just read NCERT, don't stop till you're not done with it. Once that is finished and you actually understand most of it (with underlining and self-written notes beside the book paragraphs) then move on to NCERT in-text questions, exemplar, etc. Practice makes perfect.
