University of Mumbai prescribes the detailed MUCMET 2022 eligibility criteria. Candidates seeking admission to the integrated programme of School of Management must ensure to fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria.

University of Mumbai has released the detailed MUCMET eligibility criteria 2022. Candidates seeking admission to the Five Year Integrated (BMS+MBA) programme must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Authorities have released the online application forms for MUCMET 2022. Registered candidates will be able to appear for the entrance exam. Admission to School of Management Studies – University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus, Balkum, Thane will be based on the All India Merit Rank of Mumbai University Common Management Entrance test (MUCMET-2022) to be conducted on the online platform.

MUCMET 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must fulfil the set of eligibility requirements for successful registration and smooth conduct of the admission process. For candidates who will not meet the eligibility criteria, their candidature will stand cancelled and will not be able to appear for the MUCMET selection process. Test takers must ensure to adhere to the prescribed eligibility criteria of MUCMET 2022 as mentioned below: 

Academic Qualification Requirements: 

  • An aspirant must have obtained Higher Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate (10+2) or it's equivalent from a recognised board (Not mandatory for students who have appeared HSC examination this academic year (2021-22)) 
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for reserved categories) from Science, Commerce, Arts or any other stream. 

Age Criteria for MUCMET 2022 

As per the MUCMET 2022 eligibility criteria test taker must be below the age of 20 years as on May 23, 2022 (Day of examination). Candidates belonging to the reserved category must be below the age of 22 years.

As per the reservation policy of the University of Mumbai, 85% of the seats shall be reserved for qualified students and domiciled in Maharashtra. 

What after fulfilling the MUCMET Eligibility Criteria 2022? 

Candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria of MUCMET 2022 must keep the important documents (scanned)/information ready to fill the application form. Check the list of the documents/information required for the MUCMET application form 2022: 

  • Recent passport size photograph 
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets 
  • Domicile certificate (if applicabale) 
  • Date of birth certificate 
  • Photo ID proof 
  • Caste certificate (if applicable) 
  • Physical disability certificate (if applicable) 
  • Internet banking/debit/credit card details 

Who will be not eligible for MUCMET 2022? 

Candidate will not be eligible for MUCMET 2022 admission on the following grounds: 

  • Not meeting the required academic qualifications 
  • Above the age of 20 years (22 years for reserved categories)

Ans. Admission to the University of Mumbai’s five-year integrated programme is conducted on the basis of MUCMET exam score only.

Ans. The application fee of MUCMET is INR 500 for open category and INR 250 for reserved category.
