Overall, everything is good.

Placements: Nearly 70% of students get placed every year so placements are good with best packages at good companies. First of all, it depends on students how they study and follow the teacher's guidance they can get best job opportunities.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. There are separate hostels boys and girls. Food is good compared to PG every day. They clean the room nicely. Hostel staff is 24/7 available. Wi-Fi is available. Fees depend on the sharing of your room. The infrastructure is good and the hostel ground is good.

Faculty: Supportive faculty members and academic rigor. Faculty are frequently described as knowledgeable, caring, and supportive often going between or beyond academics with guidance mentoring and technical workshops. One student recalls transformative support leading to top results.

Best campus and hostel is safe.

Placements: 24 LPA is the average salary. More than 50 students are placed from every branch so placement is good. It is dependent upon students on how they study, not on college. There are high placement chances this year so they take some classes like soft skills for placement training which will be every week.

Infrastructure: Facilities available are laundry 24X7, Wi-Fi, food is hygienic, and rooms will be cleaned daily. Hostel ground is beautiful in morning view and night view timings are from morning 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday, Sunday from morning 6:30 to evening or night 9:00.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly. They help in every situation and they teach well. We understand it easily and they repeat until we understand the concept. We have some activities in classes. Overall, teachers are the best. When it comes to exams, they help us a lot so we are happy with our teachers.

Other: Biotechnology is a good branch and it is in boom for upcoming years.

A dynamic institution that balances academic excellence with personal development.

Placements: 60% of students got placed from my course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 35, 000 per month, the average salary is Rs. 20,000 and the lowest is Rs. 15,000 in my course. Top recruiting companies in my college are Mankind, Biocon, Mylan, Covance, Lupin, and Medchem. 70% of students got placed from my course.

Infrastructure: Acharya College has the largest green campus, and has excellent, beautiful, and best infrastructure with full-time Wi-Fi availability. Lab is well-equipped and high-tech classrooms. Acharya has digital library with a large number of resources. Clean, well-maintained, and supportive staff make the hostel experience enjoyable.

Faculty: Faculty members at Acharya College are very friendly and good. They are very approachable. Faculty members in Acharya are well-educated. They are qualified for their role and they adapt modern technology to teach and faculty members are very supportive. Course curriculum is designed in a very good way. Semester wise exam takes place.

Other: The reason to chose the biotechnology course was, that I chose PCMB as my major stream in PUC since I scored good marks in these subjects. I decided to take a biotechnology course for my higher studies. Acharya College is known for its college events like fest, cultural fest, sundowner night, fresher week, dandiya night, and most importantly Acharya Habba.

The college is good but not as expected.

Placements: There are no placements from the core companies related to our course. The placements are for computer science background companies mostly. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. No top recruiters for our course. Internships are provided in MNCs like Merch Life Science and others.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus but is useless. Labs are in the worst condition for our course. Classrooms are not well-maintained. Library is top notch and best in Karnataka. Hostel facilities are average. The food was initially good but later on, gets bored of it but it's not worth for what we pay.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified but only few among them are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is manageable. The course curriculum is set by VTU so the college does nothing. The semester exams are quite difficult but for those who study well, they are good. The exams are held strictly in our college.

Other: Since I am a biology background student, I wanted to choose something different so I chose this course. The lab instruments and infrastructure has to be improved. Events, fests, and campus crowd are at the best. Scholarships are available for the students who are in need of it.

I am satisfied with the college. Facilities in our department should be improved.

Placements: Up to 35% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 and above per month. Top recruiting company of our course is Biocon. Roles like a supervisor in manufacturing and research sector is offered to the students. Students who scored 6 CGPA and above got placed in Biozeen and Raghavendra Technologies Pvt Ltd.

Infrastructure: Outdoor facilities are quite good. The biotech department is a small branch, so separate block is not available. Few other branches were combined together in a block. Buildings are unfinished, and paintwork is needed. The hostel facilities are not that good, and the residence fee is too high.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and helpful. They even organise events and invite some high profile professionals to give their knowledge. They also provide many opportunities to learn and grow in this field.

Other: I have chosen this course because like many biotechnology engineers even I was trying for a medical seat, unfortunately, couldn't get it so joined this course. I wish the college should provide some lab equipment and lab facilities should be improved in our course. An event named Habba is organised at our college. Scholarships are available for students to opt for higher studies abroad.

Not compulsorily. Rather, you need to have biology as a compulsory subject for pursuing biotechnology but the criteria could differ from college to college.
