I am absolutely satisfied. It has value for money.
Placements: There are a total of 100 seats available. To get a government job as a Nursing Officer, students need to clear both the Prelims and Main exams of NORCET. Almost 80% of students get a job every year. 4th year students get internships in the last 6 months, paying up to Rs. 13,000 per month, before completing the course.
Infrastructure: Our campus is very neat and clean, with a guard every 20 meters, making it very safe. Our classes run in a lecture theatre with AC on it. We have a library running 24/7, and we have different departmental labs like anatomy and microbiology. Our hostel is also very good for single rooms to double and triple rooms with Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful in clinicals to get hands-on experience with patients. They also take return demonstrations from us. In college, they give lectures through proper PPTs and they use models for us to understand better. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to be in the medical field and wanted to help those in need, As for the fests, it takes place every year and is very overwhelming.

Review of my dream college AIIMS, Delhi.
Placements: Internships are provided to all students in the AIIMS hospital only, which is included in the 4-year degree program, while placements are provided in all AIIMS hospitals after clearing the NORCET exam with a good score. One can also apply for jobs at other Delhi government medical colleges, which also offer good pay. In AIIMS, Delhi, the starting salary of a nursing officer is around 75k.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel room and library. Classrooms are well-equipped with digital screens and air conditioning. Along with that, we are also provided with swimming pool, gym, library, reading rooms, and sports areas for table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, etc. Mess and canteen food quality is fine. Medical facilities, including free treatment and medicine, is provided to all students.
Faculty: The faculty is amazing and focused more on the real-life application of theory classes. Interacting with patients in the first year only gives good exposure. The course curriculum is fine but sometimes it feels irrelevant as the syllabus is very vast, which may not be useful to us as nursing officers. Exams are conducted annually with an average difficult level and a pass percentage of 40%.
Other: I chose this course as it provided me with a secure future with good pay. Also, how can I keep myself from living life at my dream college? Everything is good but I felt that mess shouldn't be compulsory for all and the stipend should be increased from Rs 500 per month. The connectivity of the college is good with metro and bus services and who can forget the biggest festival of AIIMS Delhi, i.e., PULSE. Many interesting societies are there to develop our personalities and, of course, a good patient load for a medico.

Nurses at AIIMS New Delhi.
Placements: For getting a job at AIIMS New Delhi, you need to qualify the NORCET exam after completing B.Sc. nursing. The monthly salary of a Nursing Officer at AIIMS New Delhi is between 80,000 and 150,000. 100% of students get an internship in this course. The course duration is 4 years, during which you will have the internship in the last year.
Infrastructure: AIIMS Delhi is one of the top medical colleges in India. The campus area is very large, accommodating many departments and hostels. In this course, you will be taught in well-equipped classrooms with projectors, speakers, AC, etc. There are labs for practical knowledge, and a library that is open 24/7. The hostels for nursing students are very spacious, accommodating around 300-400 students. The rooms are well-furnished and ventilated. The hostel has a mess which serves good quality food and is very hygienic. A lot of sports and games are also played here.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified doctors and nurses who are highly knowledgeable. They teach us in a very polite manner. The course curriculum is very relevant to the nursing course. It helps to develop professional as well as personal qualities. The semester exams are very relevant to what we are taught throughout the semester. The difficulty level is moderate, and you need to get 50% marks to pass these exams.
Other: This course is highly professional and is related to patient care, which I am interested in. So I have chosen this course. The best thing about this course is that it makes you mentally strong enough to face critical situations very patiently. It teaches us patient care. The thing that I want to improve is that there should be some syllabus and assignment education in this course. There are lots of events organized here. One of the best fests is Pulse, which is the biggest medical fest organized in AIIMS New Delhi. The surrounding area is very peaceful and happy. There are lots of extracurricular activities like games, dancing, singing, etc.

It is a good campus, and good clinical exposure is provided.
Placements: AIIMS Delhi is the top medical college, having a lot of clinical exposure and equipment. A lot of students got selected for NORCET exam (for nursing officers in any AIIMS in India) after studying at AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS Delhi also provides contract-based jobs with a salary after completing your 4 years of college without any exam, but after clearing the exam, the average salary offered to a nursing officer is approximately 80,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel and campus is pretty good. We have different classes in different venues, like anatomy and physiology classes are held in JLN auditorium, and we have other classes in CLT, CHC and NLT. The classrooms are comparatively good. We have BB Dikshit Library (one of the biggest libraries) here, where all kinds of books, magazines, and journals can be found. The hostel provides facilities like a dancing room, reading room, badminton ground, table tennis court and TV room. The quality of food in the mess is above-average.
Faculty: The college has highly qualified teachers. They are post-graduates. They did M.Sc., MD, MS or Ph.D. via presentations on the digital screen. The course curriculum is relevant. Clinical exposure is important for nursing. We are provided with that from the 1st year itself.

This college provides good facilities and education quality is fine.
Placements: The number of seats in the 2019 batch is 89 out of which only 73 are occupied. Recently since the 2022 batch, the number of seats has increased up to 100. Every student receives a stipend of Rs 500 monthly. After completing the 4-year course it is mandatory to enter into a 6-month contract where they will be working as a staff nurse with a pay roughly around Rs 30,000. There is no internships program as such nor free recruitment for staff. To qualify as a staff nurse one has to qualify for the NORCET exam. Our college of nursing offers UG as well as PG courses, they are B.Sc honors nursing for 4 years, post-basic nursing for 2 years, and M.Sc nursing for 2 years.
Infrastructure: Our college of nursing is situated within the AIIMS hospital campus. Students have several classrooms and lecture theatres available within and around this college. There is a nursing foundation laboratory within this college where usually demos and practice take place. Students have a skills laboratory at SET facility on the campus for the demo of sophisticated procedures. Nursing students have access to BB dikshit library nearby which is one of the best libraries for medical references. Nursing students are allowed hostel number 15, medha hostel located near masjid moth on the campus. It is approximately a 15-20 minutes walk from the college and the hospital. The hostel is a 7 floored building with facilities such as a mess, general store, reading rooms, television rooms, dance room, badminton court, guest room, and visitors room. The monthly mess fee is Rs 3,000, and the quality of food is average. First years are allowed three-seaters or four-seaters rooms whereas double or single rooms are allowed for the rest of the students. The hostel is exceptionally well maintained and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but students find them less helpful. The teaching quality is average. But with the help of seniors, staff, and a few skillful teachers, at the end of four years, one can achieve the necessary skills to be good nursing staff. Semester exams are not difficult if one prepares for them well. The difficulty level is 3 out of 5. Recently many amendments are made regarding the pass percentage. A student is considered to pass if they separately pass in internal as well as external exams. Internal exams are conducted as unit tests, mid-term, and model exams. One has to score 40% in internals. External exams are conducted yearly around May. One has to score 50% in it. There are practical exams, and one has to score 50% in it.
Other: I chose this college because it has value for money. The tuition fee is almost nill moreover, it is a great opportunity to study in such a reputed institution. The best thing about this course is that students get to work and learn from the best medical faculty members in India. Yearly AIIMS provides scholarships worth Rs 15,000 to the selected students. Campus surroundings have many best facilities including chain corner, computer shop, hostel i.e around 19, barber shop, tailor shop, general store, juice corner, basketball court, and many more. Moreover, there have been many events and fests all around the year. Some of which are Pulse and Trouivaille conducted by different departments of AIIMS. It conducts a fest called Trouvaille which is a competition or fest for all nursing colleges across Delhi. Students also have freshers parties, farewell parties, and college days annually. Plus on several festive occasions such as Diwali and Christmas conducts party on the hostel campus.

You may need to explore alternative programs or consider reapplying for the next academic year. Many AIIMS colleges do not offer direct admission or second-chance exams outside the main entrance process.
