NEST CEBS 2025 Category-wise Seat Matrix
If two applicants score same marks in NEST exam, then they will get same provisional ranks when the result will be declared. But the tie breaker between them will be done during counselling/admission process by comparing the marks secured by applicants in class 12th exam.
The NEST 2026 Counselling is likely to begin in the second week of July. There will be around four rounds of counselling. The number of rounds will depend on the number of remaining seats. Candidates passing the NEST exam will be eligible for the admission process.

Subject-wise syllabus for NEST Exam
Candidates should carry the NEST 2024 application form, admit card, scorecard as well as academic qualification and reserved category documents.
Both original and photocopy of the documents should be carried to the counselling venue. Applicants should also carry at least four passport-size photographs with the documents while appearing in the NEST exam counselling.
If any additional document will be required then it will be mentioned in the NEST 2024 counselling schedule.

NEST CEBS 2025: Important Documents
Here are all the important documents candidates must carry and prepare in advance during the NEST CEBS 2025 Offline Admission Process.
1) Original Migration Certificate of Class 12 (to be submitted to the University of Mumbai upon completion of the admission process.
2) School Leaving / College Leaving Certificate
3) Photocopies of Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate
4) Proof of Date of Birth (applicable only if DoB is not mentioned in any of the documents above).
5) NEST 2025 scorecard.
6) Proof of Citizenship - OCI card (applicable only if born outside India)
7) Caste Certificate (if applicable)
8) Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (in case of OBC candidates – if applicable)
9) Valid EWS certificate (in case of EWS candidates – if applicable)
10) If the category certificate is not in either English or Hindi, then a translated version in English or Hindi must also be provided.
11) Students applying under the J&K/Ladakh quota should have the J&K/Ladakh Domicile certificate and must have passed their class 12 examination from the State Board or CBSE-affiliated school located in J&K/Ladakh.
12) If applicable, disability certificate from the Government/Municipal Hospital showing 40 per cent and above impairment. Candidates are advised to ensure that the certificate is under the latest guidelines of the Government of India.
13) Anti-ragging affidavits (i) by the student, and (ii) by the parent/guardian, each on INR 500/- non-judicial stamp paper. Please note that both of these must be notarised.
14) Undertaking form duly signed by student and parent/guardian.
15) 4 passport-size photographs.
