TIFR GS Cutoff 2026: Steps to download cutoff list, Previous year cutoff, and List of Participating Institutes

Students must go through this table to know some of the crucial details related to the TIFR GS 2026 Exam. 

Candidates must go through the following steps to go through the cutoff:

1. Students need to visit the official website of TIFR GS, i.e. https://www.tifr.res.in/~academics/index.php 
2. Then students need to clikc on the link, "Admission".
3. Students must click on the TIFR GS Cutoff link. 
4. Then, look for the link, "TIFR GS Cutoff List' and click on it. 
5. Once, the list appear on the screen, stduents must download it for all subjects for all categories. 

As per the marking scheme of the TIFR GS Exam. There are a total of 40 questions in the TIFR GS question paper. In Section A, there are multiple-choice questions. In Section B, there are true and false questions. The Exam duration is 3 hours. 

For every right answer, students get 3, marks. For every wrong answer, there is a negative marking of -1 in Section A.

In Section B, there is no negative marking. 5 marks are given for every right answer.
