For the students belonging to the General category under the AI quota, the maximum JEE Main cutoff rank required for BTech admission was 52313. This indicates that students with a lower cutoff rank than the one mentioned here had a higher chance of getting a seat at VNIT Nagpur. Considering the last round, the top pick among the Engineering aspirants was Computer Science and Engineering, followed by  Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with closing ranks of 7694, 13941, and 20075, respectively.

For the OBC category, the first and last round closing ranks for CSE were 2102 and 11008, respectively. Similarly, for Electronics and Communication Engineering, the cutoff was lenient for admission among the OBC category as compared to that of the General category. NIT Nagpur JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for BTech admissions across various specialisations. For NITs, JoSAA announced seat allotment results up to six rounds, with a further three rounds conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The NIT Nagpur CSE cutoff 2025 closed at 427, indicating the highest level of competition for students in the ST AI category compared to other categories, including General, OBC, and SC.
