Overall experience being in ARSD College.
Placements: About the placement of our college, it's decent. The average package range between 3.5 LPA-4 LPA for undergraduate and 5 LPA-5.5 LPA for post-graduate. It's not that high when compared to other colleges, but it's still decent.
Infrastructure: The overall college campus is good, it has one of the biggest campuses in DU, and there are various sports faculty members. I'm pursuing B.Sc. Electronics Honors, and my department is electronics sciences. Our department has very experienced professors, they are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. Our labs are very well-maintained, all the apparatus works properly, and the labs are well-equipped with AC. The lab staff is also good. Classroom, I would say, is decent, they are too great but not bad. Wi-Fi is good. A hostel is not provided in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable, and they provide and guide more than enough for exams like the PYQs and expected questions. Semester exams are made very balanced, as if you are expecting exams to be easy, they are not. I would say they are anywhere between moderate and difficult, while some exams are a little easier, but then they make the paper such that it takes time.

I'm regretting after taking admission into this college. I don't know how it's on nirf 5 ranking.
Placements: There is barely any placement for UG students, no matter which course they are pursuing. There are internships offered by companies like Deloitte, Adobe, etc., but they are either low-paying or unpaid. There are placements after post-graduation, but they usually offer around 5-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with well-built classrooms, corridors, and a garden. Regarding the labs, it don't have new laptops and other gadgets, though the Chemistry lab is good. There's a fully AC library, but the number of books is insufficient, and there's always a rush to issue books during examinations. The Wi-Fi works properly, and the classes are good.
Faculty: I am in Electronics Honours. Honestly, my faculty is good, but there are a few teachers who are not cooperative. The curriculum is outdated, and we are learning about microprocessors 8085 and 8086, which have been used since 2000. The exams are tough, and you will find students with backlogs, mainly in the Science stream.
Other: s I am in the NEP (New Education Policy), the course is four years. I prefer students to go for B.Tech as the same duration and offers more recognition and opportunities.

An honest review that describes the college completely.
Placements: Placements are facilitated by the placement cell. Most of the job roles are those of an analyst and associate. More than 100 companies, including KPMG and Yamaha, came to college. However, due to the different stages of the selection procedure, the selection rate is not good enough. You have to be good in academics as well as a good communicator to get placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not provided by the college, but the university provides it to students based on their marks and the distance of their hometown from the college. Infrastructure is good and will be updated with time. The campus is fully Wi-Fi, and food quality is average in the kitchen with a variety of items.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. If you are a good student and want to study, they will help you anytime. Exams are not tough; anybody can score good marks above 8 CGPA with constant study. The course curriculum is relevant, with labs happening three days a week.

Electronics Hons in arsd, DU.
Placements: Here, mostly companies come for commerce and economics courses. But for electronics the number is very low. Whereas electronics students usually have the option to sit for computer department placements which usually have decent packages. Now, nep has been introduce so everything related to internship has been hand there is internal turmoil in the university about the internships so this is a foggy topic right now.
Infrastructure: College has no hostel facility. While the college campus is good, well furnished, good Wi-Fi, has a good library and classrooms. The sports facilities are not that much good but the canteen food is not bad. Medical facil, atm facility are great. Labs are well-equipped and go.
Faculty: Teachers are good in my course. They are strict but always ready to help the students any time. The are well qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum has been changed after the introduction of NEP and focused on making them industry ready. The exams are of good level and the semester are good. The pass percentage is above 90 percent.
Other: The crowd is good. You will find people from all over the country. You will learn new things and will able to get a newer version. The surrounding of college is not bad. The metro station and bus stand both are at walking distance from college even less then 200 m. College has various societies and each society is very active.

It has good faculty and placements but not specially for electronics.
Placements: Almost all the students who applied for placements got placed. The average package offered was about 2-3 LPA. The top recruiters are Yamaha, Wipro, DE Shaw etc. Almost every student who applied for internships got an internship. There are no placements, especially for electronics course, so you have to compete with other courses students for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The library has all the books, but only a few copies are there. The canteen is small, but the food is good. Almost everything is at affordable prices. Many games are available, and if you want to play cricket or football, a big ground is also available.
Faculty: The faculty and course curriculum are good, but exams are easier than the syllabus. If you study for 2-3 weeks before exams, you can easily qualify all the exams with good marks. Teachers are helpful, and almost everything comes from the syllabus.
Other: Events are good. Wi-Fi works well. The cafeteria is small, but the food is good.
