Best college in Jharkhand.
Placements: In our 2020 batch of Production and Industrial Engineering, out of 45 students, almost 40 were placed with an average salary of 6 LPA, with 12 LPA being the highest offered. Students were placed in companies like Tata Steel, JSW, TCS, ITC, JPL, and Aditya Birla Group.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BIT Sindri is quite old, as it was established in 1949, but it is still better than most colleges. There is a central library where you can borrow books for free, and the classrooms are very large and spacious. The mess food in the hostel is also above average. The sports club of BIT Sindri helps students excel in the sports field."
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified, as most of them have completed their Ph.D. and B.Tech from IITs. The teaching quality is good, with regular classes being conducted. This course makes students industry-ready by providing access to various machines and software, such as 3D printers, CAD, CAM, and hands-on experience in welding and foundry. Semester exams are not easy to pass here.
Other: I have always had a keen interest in mechanical engineering since childhood, but my percentile was not enough to get into mechanical, so I chose this course, which is almost similar to mechanical. More practical exposure in our course would be great. There are no big fests in our college, but small events happen regularly. The campus is huge, covering 450 acres, and connectivity is easy. Scholarships like Reliance, Siemens, and E-Kalyan are available here. I am a Siemens scholar.

One shot review of BIT Sindri.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 15.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting are ITC, Aditya Birla, Vedanta, etc. Around 88% of students got internships in Tata Power, TCS, etc. Manager and analyst roles are offered. Overall, the highest salary package offered by DE Shaw Group is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is above 10 LPA. Placements are also very good. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the library. It is air-conditioned. A lot of books, nobles, and fictional books are there in the library. All hostels have water coolers and BLDC fans with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There are 3 canteens in our college. We have 2 fields for sports. There are indoor games in the common room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers are certified Ph.D. holders. They have a lot of experience. The teaching quality is very decent. The course curriculum is a little outdated. As new technologies grow, our institute takes good measures to include the latest technology in our course. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this college because it is the best state government college in Jharkhand. Its fees are very affordable. It has a huge campus. It is spread over 480 acres of land. It is close to my house. If more labs were taken about the real industry, our course would be better. There is 1 technical fest called Sandhaan and other small fests are held occasionally. The campus crowd is okay. The connectivity is a little bad. It is situated 20 km away from the city. It is in a small town called Sindri. There are many scholarships available. We have a lot of extracurricular activities.

BITians are second to none.
Placements: 80% of students get placed and if you have skills and knowledge, you will definitely get placed. 20 lakh is the highest package. 6-7 lakh is the average package. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Tata and many more. If you have skills, you can easily get internships. Graduate trainee is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure: new hostels are made and also new building for academic purposes are on construction . WiFi is available but you have to install your personal wifi. There is a small place inside every hostel where you can play cricket, volleyball, or badminton.
Faculty: Highly educated professors with great knowledge and experience are here. You just have need to have the eagerness to learn new things and new skills. They are available to help you. The course is related to manufacturing and industrial, which is essential for us. Moderate difficulty level of exams is there.

An honest review on BIT Sindri.
Placements: Students become eligible for placement from their sixth semester. Around 50 to 60 companies visit every year in our college. Around 90 percent placement rate in our college. If your target is the core sector, you should definitely join this institution. The average package was around 5 to 6 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was not so good but it's okay. Some buildings were old. But now the new hostels and lecture halls are under construction. A new hostel was opened this year named Twenty Nine. The mess food was decent and it charges 3900 per month. All sports are available in our college.
Faculty: All the faculty members in the institute are highly qualified in their fields. They have very good teaching skills and you can easily understand the entire concept. All faculty members are very cooperative. Faculty also support cracking exams like GATE. You will get an in-depth analysis of all subjects.

Review of Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri.
Placements: Approximately 85% of students are placed in a decent company with packages ranging from 6 to 14 LPA. Many top companies like ITC, Vedanta, TCS, Jindal, JSW, etc. come to our college. Almost all students who have secured above 8 CGPA in their 2nd or 3rd year get internships. Roles like manager, engineer, etc. are offered depending on the companies.
Infrastructure: All are okay. Since this is government college, you can understand that well. The quality of facilities has improved a lot from earlier. Now we have all the necessary labs and machines for testing and performing experiments. Some of the hostels are old-school type, but now the college is matching the level of its infrastructure and others as well.
Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. Yes, the course outcomes are very relevant to the curriculum and also make the students ready for the future. Students can secure a 9 CGPA, if they study hard. Pass percentage is 33%.

Hello Chandan, As per your rank, your chances are nil for getting any branch in BIT,Sindri. However, you may get any good branches in UCET Hazaribagh, so you can look forward for this if you want a cheaper college.
