BMS College Of Engineering BTech cutoff 2024 has been announced across multiple specialisations. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories. Based on the COMEDK 2024 cutoff in Round 3, the closing ranks ranged between 3716 and 70805 for the students belonging to the General category. Among all the BTech specialsiations, Computer Science & Technology turned out to be the most demanded courses. For SC and ST categories, the COMEDK cutoff is not available. BMS College of Engineering has 18 different specialisations in BE programme at the undergraduate level. Some of these specialisations, include Electrical and Communication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering etc. Candidates who have obtained at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ Category-I candidates from Karnataka state) in Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, English Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science and with English as one of the language can apply for BMS College of Engineering BE admission.

Candidates are required to submit the original documents at the time of verification of documents for BE courses in the BMS College of Engineering. Moreover, candidates are required to submit original documents along with two sets of self-attested copies. The names of the documents are as follows:

The primary eligibility criteria for admissions to BE courses at BMS College of Engineering is candidates must complete Class 12 with English as one of the languages and obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects. Moreover, for selection process the college accepts the scores of KCET/ COMEDK UGET, followed by counselling. 

BMSCE admissions are entirely based on the rank and scores achieved by candidates in the entrance examinations. To get a seat in any of the programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by the counselling round conducted by the competent authority. Candidates should appear for either KCET/ COMEDK/ Karnataka PGCET/ GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT or MAT depending upon the programme for which candidates wish to apply for BMS College of Engineering admission.

BMS College of Engineering falls under management quota. A student with PCM in Class 12 with 60 percent and above can directly apply. At 75%, you would be eligible though you would have to apply in the admission office of the college. Direct admission involves no entrance exam, yet the fees are higher. BMS College of Engineering mostly takes entrance based admission but also offers a management quota available to aspirants of BE. Candidates should have attained at least 60 percent in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or related subjects at Class 12 under this quota. The direct admission is on the availability basis.

BMS College of Engineering does not have its own entrance exam, but it considers KCET, COMEDK, GATE and PGCET scores. The level of these examinations is not similar and some students find COMEDK easier than KCET. Exams can be scored well by doing preparation with Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
