Best for competitive exams.

Placements: The highest package of BIET is approximately 64 LPA. Approximately 76% of students get placed in companies. The lowest package is around 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Physics Wallah, Mahindra, HCL, HLS Asian, etc. Around half of the students get internships.

Infrastructure: There are 8 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. All hostels and the college campus are well connected with Wi-Fi named BIET. Labs and classrooms are well organized, with very well-skilled laboratory teachers. One common library is available for all students. One common dispensary is also present.

Faculty: All branches have skilled and experienced faculty. Regular semester exams are held every 3 months. As BIET is an autonomous college, it conducts its exams before AKTU and on time without any delay. Passing these exams is not hard, one night of study before the exam is enough to pass, and for scoring more marks, you should focus on class notes.

Other: Not much crowded, with a maximum of 75 students in a class. Regular fests are conducted in the college.

Absolutely Satisfied because of low fees but dissatisfied because of hostel mess and placement.

Placements: Almost 70-75% of students in my course got placed. As I belong to the CS/IT branch, 80-90 tech offers were found (total students in CS/IT in the 2024 batch were 120). The highest package was 10 LPA, the average package was 4.92 LPA, and the lowest package was not applicable. Top recruiting companies were TCS, MeasurePM, Teachnook, Google, HLS, DeltaX, and MindYourFleet. There were very few internship offers. Many students tried off-campus avenues to get their internships. Roles offered were SDE Intern, System Software Engineer, and Trainee.

Infrastructure: Our department provides facilities such as smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, projectors, AC, RO water, and many more. The infrastructure inside classrooms is good. Overall infrastructure is okay but not well-managed by the college. You also have access to the library (from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM), which has very good infrastructure. There are three new hostels; the rest are very old, but as a student, you will have no problems inside the hostels and rooms regarding infrastructure. The quality of food in the hostel mess is a little bit low (sometimes oily, uncooked, etc.), which is common in every government college. Good quality food is provided in the central canteen inside the college. For medical facilities, there is a dispensary located inside the college (with doctors and free medicine) that is good. For sports and games, there is a big central playground and SAC with good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified (M.Tech, Ph.D. holders, UGC NET qualified), and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. My course is with the Information Technology branch, which makes me ready for the industry in many fields, including web development and AI/ML. As BIET Jhansi is an autonomous college, you will never have very difficult semester exams, as the papers are made by college teachers. You have to get 40% (40/100) in one subject to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a software engineer. The best thing about my course is that you will never get bored with the subjects. It makes you a good problem-solver and sharpens your deducing skills. Never hesitate to learn from others (maybe your friends, seniors, or teachers). Events and fests are organized by IIC, FAH, and other councils four to five times a year. The campus crowd is very large. It has good connectivity to the city and campus, surrounded by the medical college and Bundelkhand University. All eligible students get scholarships, and teachers are helpful regarding scholarships. Extracurricular activities are conducted (SEVA Foundation, Swachh Bharat, RSS, etc.).

Biet Jhansi, is it worth it?

Placements: The percentage placement from the IT branch is roughly around 60%, with the highest package being 9.5 LPA and the lowest package being 3.5 LPA. The average package this year is mainly around 4 to 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies mostly include TCS, Wipro, etc. The chances of getting internship programs are quite mild due to the remote location of the institute. Students can apply for them through various other online programs.

Infrastructure: The campus is well acquainted with all the facilities being provided to the students. Each year has a separate hostel. And the hostels include badminton and volleyball courts amidst the main campus. The Wi-Fi connection can be an issue and it may not work up to full potential. The college has two libraries with over 10,000 books for students. The mess provides good and nutritious food for students and is quite decent. There is a 24/7 medical facility with a dispensary situated inside the campus. There is also a multipurpose hall and an indoor badminton court easily among the top in UP.

Faculty: The teachers here are quite knowledgeable and highly qualified, most of them having their PhDs done. They are easily approachable and give honest opinions on student queries. Since BIET is an autonomous institute, there are not many hardships faced by the students. The semester exams fully test students on their deep understanding of the concepts and are made by their own professors. Almost the entire batch passes the semester exams, and their chances of failing are quite low.

Our college has average faculty members.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 65 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. In the previous year, approximately 40% of students were placed. About 30% to 35% of students got internships the previous year. Top placements were from companies like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, where students were hired via off-campus selection.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very satisfactory. Hostel facilities are also average, and sports are highly prioritised here. The food quality is fine, and the canteen doesn't offer much quality. There are medical facilities, but they are inadequate.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and the curriculum is relevant. The teaching quality is not very good. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 33% for all subjects, especially those with credits.

This college is the best for those students who want to prepare for competitive examinations.

Placements: Placement for this college is only for CS and IT branch if you are good at coding and studied well. You have got placed in a good company. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, and Easygov visited our college which offers good annual salary packages. The highest salary package of the college this year is 64 LPA by Google (off-campus) and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. In CS and IT branches, about 70% of students got placed. About 20 students secured under 200 rank in the GATE examination so according to the placements, the college is good at this category.

Infrastructure: In the first year of college, you get the best hostel which is Vrindavan and if you are in the top 100 students of the college, you get Rajendra Agnihotri hostel in the 2nd year which is also the best hostel. Mess food is average. In this hostel, sometimes, they boil the grains with water and give them to you. If you want to live outside of the college, there is no PG in the range of 5 km of the college.

Faculty: The course curriculum is based on AICTE modules. All art-related colleges have the same course curriculum according to the site. In our college, faculty members of information technology are very less there are only 6 teachers among 200 students. You have one benefit. If you want to do something extra, you have enough free time because only 3 classes per day are scheduled. If you got self finance branch like IT and EE, the faculty members are not good enough but in other branches, they are quite good and teach well. If you want to prepare for the GATE examination, this college provides you best schedules for competitive examinations like UPSC, civil services, and GATE. You have to attend only 3-4 classes per day which are good if you are prepared for the examination.

It is a good college and it is situated in a safe area. Transportation is also available easily.

Placements: The scenario of placements is very good. Students get placed in many good companies. This year some students get placed in Google, and many more students get placed in their desired companies. Those students who work hard and have great skills always achieve whatever they want.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also very good. Each building is well maintained. Each class has the proper facility of fans and light. Classrooms are very large and have proper arrangements for the students. Furniture is alright and the hostel rooms are clean, and there is proper arrangement of cleanliness for washrooms. The mess facility is also very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very cooperative and natural. The teachers are very helpful. Students feel free with the faculty members. The curriculum is good for the student. This college is affiliated with the AKTU hence curriculum and exams depend on the AKTU.

Education is the need of everyone.

Placements: Students in the 5th semester are eligible for placement. Approximately 64 LPA is the highest package from this year. The average package is 4-5 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Razorpay, and HCL visit the campus for placement. Almost 95% of students from CSE and IT gets placed each year I want to become a teacher, one of my biggest dreams is to give Education to the Poor. There are many schemes under which the poor can get the proper education but due to the lack of knowledge, the schemes can't be within the reach of the poor.

Infrastructure: There are different hostels for each year. For girls, there are 2 hostels. And for boys, there are 4 hostels. Each room contains a window, a fan, a bed and a table chair. Meals provided in the mess are good after the mess committee is appointed. And also a chart of the week is posted on the walls of mess. So that everyone knows about the menu. Hostel registration is done with admission. 14000 rupees per semester is mess fees. There is no chance of getting a hostel outside the college because the college is on made very outskirts of the city, it's about 20 km away from the railway station. The students from other cities have to take the college hostel.

Faculty: From starting my teenage I have had to do engineering at CSE or the information technology branch. So I opted for this course. The faculty of the college is good and have good knowledge about the students and deep thinking. The director is from IIT Delhi. The student ratio in each branch is average. That means 1:5 about. Means 50 boys and 10 girls. The qualification of all faculty is good. They all are degree holders from respected colleges. Some of them are BIETians. And some of them are from IITs. It was very difficult for the exams because it was an autonomous college so it takes the exams accordingly. They set papers according to themselves and to get a good score you have to study regularly and in very punctual in class Overall, the view was too good. The college provides all the facilities to the students. I like the way of exams.

Other: There are many fests conducted by colleges. One of the main is INNOVANZA, this is done by the innovation and incubation cell. The annual fest is done for the whole year and in the first year, a forum for all branches is also conducted so that the interaction among the students increases. Yes, there are many social groups. Like literary sub-council (LSC). And IIC ( innovation and incubation cell) Also, there is a Drone learners club for making drones. The library contains a lot of books. You can borrow books from the library using a library card. Campus life is enjoyable because there is a long road to walk and it became miserable in the months of summer. There is a crisis of water and the sun is at the top of your head. Overall campus life is good. The seniors are very supportive. They organised different events for us.

The placements for CS/IT in 2022 are good.

Placements: About 80% of students were able to secure placements in IT branch with the help of TPC. The highest package offered was by Josh Technologies of 10 LPA, and the top recruiters for the batch were Wipro, Newgen, L&T etc. Almost all the students were able to secure internships.

Infrastructure: Separate hostels are available for each year's students, and individual rooms are also available. The food is the only drawback as the hygiene can be improved considerably. There is a dispensary available for medical facilities. The student activity center is available for sports and gym along with a central play ground. A new library is awaiting to be inaugurated soon.

Faculty: The faculty are extremely helpful and provide guidance, doubt clearance, regular tips and motivation for curriculum as well as competitive and placement preparation. The curriculum is well defined and approved by AICTE and UGC to ensure that students are prepared for placements, and the examinations are conducted to ensure that students' knowledge is thoroughly tested.

Other: The placements for CS/IT branch is the highest. Extracurricular activities are a big part of college life. There are multiple councils available to ensure students' participation in literary, cultural and artistic activities. The college is connected to Jhansi city via highway, and an easy commute is available. There is an easy scholarship facility for needy students via government schemes.
