The best place for students to pursue research studies.
Placements: The placements were not the primary concern for many students in the college. Most of the students were interested in higher studies, but the trend is slightly changing. Many students are interested in working. Our department has bad placements. A few companies offered low salaries, so the students who got selected rejected the offers. The faculty members provide very little help, and the rest has to be done by the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is not up to the mark. Labs need to be well-maintained. The college has many departments, some of which have extremely well-maintained buildings. On the contrary, some departments have been in bad condition for a long time. I think all the buildings should be maintained in the same way without bias.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in their fields. Most of them have worked on very good projects and done good research. Their teaching quality is very good, and they focus more on the areas where research can be carried out.
Other: Fresher's party and fests are organised every year. People in the college are from many states. The management organises various festivals. The campus crowd is very friendly. Our campus is situated on the north side of the city, so the surrounding is very good. We have access to all the things. Scholarships are provided to every student.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   How a career in Structural Engineering has good prospects in the future?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

From the pyramids of Egypt to the exploration of space, structural engineers have always faced the challenges of the future - advancing civilization and improving our quality of life. The coming decades will be the most demanding and rewarding times for structural engineers. Structural Engineering is a combination of theoretical understanding of physical principles and hands-on experience with various materials and geometries. They use basic structural ideas to develop complicated structural structures. Creative and efficient architecture may be achieved by employing the smallest number of resources, components, and materials possible.

Q:   What does a Structural Engineer do?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Structural engineers design the bones of the building, the sub-structure, that is involved with columns, rafters, and other elements that help stabilize the building. When they build their drawings and whatever they look after as a structural engineer, that is often covered by the facade that an architect encases that structure in. Structural Engineering professionals make sure the building is able to withstand any force it may see through its lifetime, be it gravity forces or lateral forces. The average annual salary for a Structural Engineer is INR 6.1 LPA, which may vary on the basis of the experience and skill set.
