NIT Calicut College review.
Placements: When it comes to packages, the highest average is between 20 LPA and 25 LPA, while the lowest average is around 15 LPA. We got about 80% of students placed in our course, which is solid. The top recruiters, I think, are food industry giants and well-known names like Tata and Mahindra. They are handing out some top roles.
Infrastructure: One noteworthy positive characteristic of the university is the statement of the modern infrastructure being accompanied by extra resources. The public library not only has a wide range of books and novels but also has different academic journals. The canteen is big and offers a variety of dishes and drinks that are served in a customer-friendly place. Students appreciate living in the well-managed hostel where the food is not only satisfactory but also meets the basic quality standards.
Faculty: The teachers are approachable and they take things step by step, therefore making the examples very simple and relatable for the students to understand. The exams are easy, and they mainly focus on conceptualizing the topic. The semester assessment is completely dependent on the high school curriculum and is easy in nature.

It has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements for our senior batch was very good. Core companies are yet to come for our batch. 8 out of 14 students were placed in the same company. The role which was offered to our seniors was in the field of designing of structures, which is the core of our branch.
Infrastructure: Library and labs are very good. Almost all the books and journal papers are available in our library. Wi-Fi facility is also very good both in the college campus and in hostels. Classrooms are a bit old, but that doesn't matter much. Food served in the canteen is not good if you're a North Indian.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are passed out from one of the best colleges in India. They are highly knowledgeable and helpful only if you put your efforts to study. Gaining knowledge from them won't be much a problem. You can get industry exposure by doing internships.

This NIT has a vibrant campus and yummy food.
Placements: The placement cell in the college is working good and is providing a lot of opportunities for the students. Main firm L&T is recruiting at least 5 to 6 PG students from the civil engineering department. Up to 50 percent of the students joining the institute for postgraduate are getting placed in well-known companies.
Infrastructure: NIT Calicut being the one old colleges in India has very good infrastructural facilities like very good library, the best hostel facilities for all the students. There is indoor sports complex with fully functioning swimming pool. The main highlight of the campus is the Chanakya hall built recently to conduct various activities.
Faculty: Mentioning about the faculty, almost all the teachers are highly qualified. There is a shortage of permanent teaching faculty, but the college is promising that at the end of 2018 all vacancies will be filled. The course curriculum is quite encouraging and interesting for the students.
Other: Ragam is the cultural fest of NIT Calicut. It is one of the best fests in south India. Ragam is conducted for remembering the old students.
