B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2028
5.0
Smart choice for EIE aspirants.
Placements: EIE students are placed in IT, automation, and electronics companies. The placement rate is around 70-80 percent with increasing opportunities for students in recent years. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Bosch, TCS, L&T, Capgemini, and HCL regularly recruit EIE students for both technical and software roles.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs for sensors, control systems, PLC, embedded systems, and process automation. Campus is clean and Wi-Fi enabled. Campus is clean, spacious, and well-maintained with good amenities like a library, auditoriums, and Wi-Fi in key areas.
Faculty: Faculty members are known for being supportive, encouraging students to take up internships, certification courses (like NI LabVIEW, PLC programming), and participate in paper presentations. Mentorship is also provided for final year projects and placements. Exams are not that difficult, its mid because we get the PYQPs for reference, and it makes things easier for us to study.
Other: Dr. AIT has a vibrant campus with a good mixture of academics, cultural events, and extracurricular activities. College hosts technical fests, hackathons, and inter-departmental competitions that EIE students actively participate in. Sports and cultural fests like Aikya are popular among students. Clubs like IEEE, robotics, and coding clubs give students a platform to explore beyond academics. Campus life is vibrant with cultural fests, clubs, and technical events. Students enjoy participating in robotics, coding clubs, and college fests like Aikya.

Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 55-60% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BHEL, HCL, TCS, and Bosch. Around 65% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered are instrumentation engineer, control engineer, and automation engineer.
Infrastructure: Our campus is average. The infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are well-maintained. Smartboards are available in our classrooms. Classrooms are well-ventilated, bright, and spacious. Free Wi-Fi is enabled on our campus. There is a huge library in this college. Several books are available in the library. It also has internet access for research purposes. Laboratories are well-equipped and updated according to current trends in technology basics. Our college building is old. In each hostel room, around 3-4 students can accommodate easily. The food served in the mess is average. Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel. There are two canteens in this college. The food served in the canteen is good at reasonable prices. There is a gym facility in the hostel with basic equipment. Sports are conducted such as boxing, football, basketball, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are helpful. The teaching quality is great. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not tough. If we study well, we can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is that we can get to work in research and defense. Our college should improve its internships. Three fests are conducted in this college. The seniors are friendly and helpful. Scholarships are provided to merit students. Our campus crowd is average. Fests are conducted in this college.

The university provides every facility for students.
Placements: The quality of placements is really good. 80 to 90% of students are called for interviews in good institutions, and that helps us trust the university even more. The average salary offered was almost 40,000. Overall, the placements are good.
Infrastructure: It's very well-equipped for all the students coming from different genders, socio-economic, and physical backgrounds. Washrooms can be made a bit cleaner and healthier for hygiene purposes. Everything else is good. Overall, I recommend this college to all students.
Faculty: Academics and course structure in the university are really different and enriched compared to other universities. The course structure is really well designed. The curriculum is good.

According to me, it is an underrated college.
Placements: The career development classes are conducted from over a decade, and that too private faculty members come to conduct classes. Our college is strict in that matter, and it is mandatory to attend and score well to get promoted to the next semester. I don't have much idea about placements, but I heard there is an 80 percent placement rate, including all branches.
Infrastructure: It has an old building, but as time passes, they are continually trying to improve it year by year. We can choose from on-campus hostels, all of which are available. Firstly, Ananda Bhavan hostel, which is the first and oldest hostel with common washrooms on each floor, but they are clean. The second is Siddhartha Bhavan hostel, and it is kind of good compared to others, and Ashoka Bhavan is a small but new hostel. We can choose the mess facility as it is of 2 types, i.e., South and North, and both serve good food.
Faculty: Faculty members are so good and well-qualified. Most of them here are PhD holders. If we are good with them, then they are cool with us in terms of helping us in subject-related or any other, even personal suggestions, etc. The course provides 6 months for each semester and has 8 semesters in total for the whole course. But usually they complete the semester in 4 or 5 months.
Other: Here, 3 main fests are conducted every year without fail. There are plenty of clubs that are very active. The college is cooperative about these if we are interested in them.

The campus is old but has good facilities. Teachers have over 20 years of experience here.
Placements: Placements at my college are fairly basic. There are no extraordinary placement opportunities. Placement opportunities differ based on the branch. We have placement classes that train us for real-life interviews. These classes run from the 1st semester until the last semester.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very decent. There is a huge library with a wide range of books. Wi-Fi is crowded, and there are occasional network connectivity issues. The canteen is decent and affordable, and the indoor sports complex is really nice.
Faculty: The teaching is acceptable. The college is a tier-2 institution and a very decent college overall. Depending on the batch, it has a good passing percentage. The subjects we study, apart from academics, make us industry-ready. We also have placement and communication classes, which help us improve continuously.
Other: I chose EIE, and the intake is 60 students. The course is decent. There are 2 fests, which are mediocre. The surrounding areas are nice and scenic. Multiple extracurricular activities are available on campus.
