The faculty is friendly, but the college did not gave good placements in 2024.
Placements: Around 50% students were placed in the Computer Science Department. The highest package offered is 17 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Top role offered in the college is that of Software developer. The college placements are poor, you may get around 4 to 7 LPA for CSE branch.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the college, but has poor networks. The college has good labs for all departments. The classrooms are really good, and there is a new Library. There is sports room in the college. The quality of food in the hostel is not worth the money and there is a mess and a canteen in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is above average. The College does not make the students industry ready, The semester exams are really easy in this college. You can score a good CGPA at the end of the course.

Very much happy and satisfied with the college and its facilities.
Placements: It is awesome to share that around 80% of the students who chose my course got placed in top companies with an average package of 6-7 LPA. Most of the students who got placed did so through internships with the same companies. The remaining 20% of students have chosen different paths, such as higher education and startup ideas.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided to the students is at the next level, as the college installed brand new HP i7 Core 13th generation computers around 6 months ago. Classrooms are elevated, meaning each row of benches is on a higher step so that even students sitting on the last bench can concentrate. Labs are equipped with enough equipment to handle all students individually. Lab classes are divided into different batches, which helps everyone learn better.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly towards the students and help with all kinds of curriculum and co-curricular activities. They teach everything very precisely, meeting industry standards. One more great thing is that most of the teachers who have taught me so far are graduates of IITs, NITs, and other top universities. Some teachers have completed their PhDs, and some are still pursuing them.
Other: The speciality of this course is that it is offered by only a few top universities like IITs and IISc. I am glad to share that in Karnataka, our college is the only private college that offers this course, which makes it unique. We also get campus scholarships based on the 12th board, JEE Main, and other competitive exams. We also receive government scholarships such as SSP and NSP.

    Students also asked

Q:   Is the BTech CSE syllabus the same across all colleges?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The BTech CSE syllabus differs on the basis of the college offering the course. Every college follows a particular coursework pattern set by the college committee. Though the subjects might vary, the overall conceptual framework is more or less similar for students to get hold of the important concepts of the CSE field.

The syllabus includes core subjects, elective subject choices, practical lab work, workshops, and a final year research project.

Q:   What is covered in Machine Design subject in B.Tech course?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

Dear candidate, the subject of Machine Design basically teaches you about the designing fundamentals of various types of machinery across industries. You get to learn about the different ways in which elements can be combined to form an equipment or machine system and get the work done in an effective manner.

The knowledge of this subject is very important for a mechanical engineer as he/she will have to put this to use in the future whenever they enter the workforce as a mechanical engineering professional.

Hope this cleared your doubt. Have a good day.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.
