Absolutely satisfied with the college, faculty, and infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has excellent placements, and students also get opportunities to do internships both within and outside the college. The average package is 10 lakh per annum, and the roles offered in top companies include industrial psychologists and clinical psychologists.

Infrastructure: The facilities are really supportive and understanding. The classrooms, library, and seminar halls are air-conditioned, and the infrastructure of the college is top-notch. The only issue is network connectivity; otherwise, the entire campus is great and aesthetically pleasing. The food in the canteen is really good, and sports and games are actively encouraged.

Faculty: Our faculty is very helpful. Most of our teachers either have their doctorate or are pursuing their doctorate in psychology. The teaching quality is good, and the teachers are always open to addressing doubts and providing feedback. The curriculum is relevant to the course as it includes a practical component. Exams are difficult, but students perform well, and we often have a university topper from our batch.

Other: I chose this course because it is one of the best not only in Gargi College but also in the University of Delhi. Our fest ranks among the top 5 in Delhi University.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, staff, and infrastructure.

Placements: Maximum students were placed. The average package was a minimum of 10 lakh per annum. Most students get internships, and our college also offers on-campus internships. Top roles can be as an organizational psychologist and a clinical psychologist.

Infrastructure: The psychology department has air-conditioned classrooms, and the library and halls are also air-conditioned. There is greenery all around the college, and our college has smart classrooms. Our college doesn’t have Wi-Fi, but the labs are all very well maintained. The canteen has amazing food, and the sports and games facilities are top-notch.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Most of our teachers are either pursuing a PhD or have already completed their doctorate. The teaching quality is really good, and teachers are very understanding. Yes, the curriculum is perfect for students as it includes a practical element. Exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 98%.

Other: Gargi is the best college for psychology in Delhi University. Things I would like to improve include the network coverage in the area. The events at Gargi are among the top 5 fests in Delhi University.

The college has a bad infrastructure, good faculty, best college but no campus life.

Placements: I don't know about other courses, so I can't say anything about them. But in psychology, unless you are planning to go into HR or shift your career path, there aren't many career options after just a bachelor's. Usually, in the internship fair, NGOs focused on mental health, like Prabhav, Pehchaan, etc., come. But, of course, these are unpaid internships.

Infrastructure: Gargi doesn't have a hostel, but there are a lot of PGs available in the area. We don't have Wi-Fi for students, and there is no network connection other than Airtel. Overall, the infrastructure is what you would expect from a government institution, not that good. Our auditorium is at risk of falling, so we haven't gotten the chance to see it even once. However, the new academic block undoubtedly has better infrastructure. Psychology labs have ACs, but other classrooms usually don't. Overall, you won't have many food choices. We have a canteen (affordable), Nescafe (expensive), and Mother Dairy (MRP).

Faculty: Applied Psychology has double the number of practicals compared to Psychology Hons. The curriculum is holistic, but some relevant topics, like love, have been removed. Some teachers are amazing, truly the best you could ask for. While others are a nightmare and worse than school teachers. Exams aren't that difficult. You can attempt the whole paper even if you cover only half of the syllabus.

Other: It's a girls' college that provides an unexplainable sense of safety and comfort. The crowd is vibrant and fun. Regardless of who you are, there is space for you, and you will fit in. Gargi's events are the talk of the town, reels get millions of views, and the vibe is just immaculate. But when you step out of college, there's not much to do. There aren’t many places for fun or eating out. There’s only one Diggin outlet and a market near the metro station.

Placements: Some of the top recruiters were Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Wipro, and TCS. The average salary package for students can range from 3-5 LPA for undergraduate courses. For certain courses, the highest package can go up to 10-12 LPA. Placement opportunities exist in media, public relations, etc.

Infrastructure: It has great academic infrastructure: classrooms, laboratories, library with a good collection of books, journals, and e-resources. Also, it offers great extracurricular activities, an auditorium, seminar hall, and sports facilities. High environmental initiatives are taken by the college staff.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and explain everything in detail. The semester exams are not very difficult; questions are based on what teachers have taught, and teachers also provide good study resources to students.

Gargi: One of the top girls' colleges of DU.

Placements: This is one of the top courses of the college with average to good placement records over the years, with packages starting from 6 LPA onwards. Moreover, the placement cell is really active in bringing in internships. The most common roles are psychiatry in clinics, forensic sectors, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels facility isn't available here. Apart from this, classrooms are pretty good, conducted in LTs or lecture theatres, which are quite spacious with AC facilities and projectors. The canteen food is average at the moment. Also, free Wi-Fi is available, though there's network issues in the campus most often.

Faculty: The professors are really good, benevolent, highly knowledgeable, and well-versed in their respective subjects and fields. The curriculum includes viva, presentations, group projects, and the theory component. The exams are of moderate to difficult level, and this course provides a unique opportunity for not just bookish academics but a real outlook on life.

Other: I have opted for this course as I liked it, of course, and Gargi is one of the best colleges out of the very few DU colleges providing this course. The crowd is really good and diverse. Fests are a bliss, starting from freshers with a theme to the annual fest 'Reverie,' one of the best in DU, and celebration of all the events throughout the year with vibrant decor. The campus life is nice, for sure.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal. Yes, after your intermediate i.e. Class 12th, you can apply to the college for general category. Delhi University will display cutoff for each course college wise in its official website. The application will begin by June and cutoff would be out by July. Work hard secure good marks in your class 12
