No, you can't directly get admission to Gargi College, University of Delhi. In 2022, Gargi College adopted the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to undergraduate courses. Candidates for UG courses will be shortlisted based on their performance in the CUET examination in a specific subject. Candidates seeking admission to PG courses will need to appear for the CUET PG examination. 

Gargi College offers admission to candidates based on their CUET scores. Selected candidates are further allotted seat through Common Seat Allocation System. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Gargi College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The university releases the DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Gargi College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Gargi College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

Under the Gargi College BA Scholarship, there are several awards of great repute that work towards rewarding good academic performance for its students. Among the major ones are the Gargi College Award for Excellence, given to the students achieving the highest aggregate every year and promising not only to motivate them but also to show appreciation for good, consistent performance in academics. The Gyan Khosla Memorial Award is given to the student who excels in the first year of BA (Hons) in English, while the Smt. The Kanti Tripathi Memorial Award and the Dr. Manju Dhawan Memorial Award are awarded for the highest aggregates in BA Hindi (Hons.) in the third and second years, respectively. The Dr. Amba Prasad Award is given to students obtaining the highest aggregate in BA (Hons.) History in both first and second years. The scholarships, therefore, not only provide the students with financial help but also spur them into striving for excellence within their respective fields.
