Absolutely good infrastructure but not good placements.
Placements: Firstly the percentage of students placed in 2024 was around 90%. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Oracle, Amazon, Infosys, and TCS. The top company is Amazon. Around 90% of students get internships in startup companies in data science.
Infrastructure: The facility is very good in our college. The infrastructure is excellent. It has a digital lab and Wi-Fi facilities are good. There is a good library offline as well as online. Hostel has good food and also good facilities. Campus has a cafe named Gitam Cafe, which is excellent. Sports court is available for football and cricket. We have big buses and lawns.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Some of them are not so experienced, just come and go for the purpose of salary. I don't think faculty members make students industry-ready. There are 300 students, and 3 students are placed. All semester exams are hard, and it depends on studying.
Other: I chose data science course because of my interest to become data analytic. They have to improve the course teaching. GITAM has big events recently i.e., Prerana event, which I have joined and enjoyed a lot of experienced cultural people food and dance.

Our college provides good facilities and nature.
Placements: During the placement drive of 2021, the highest salary package offered was 8.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The college exhibits an above-average placement rate. Almost 90% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college plays a vital role in the development of the college. Students are now focusing on the laboratories, classrooms, etc. When selecting a college, it is most important that the colleges must have good infrastructure with advanced and well-equipped laboratories, equipment, etc.
Other: I opted for this course because I always had an interest in this field and it has a better career.

My experience in my college.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. The top companies are Infosys, Hexaware, Deltax, Wipro, Accenture, and TCS. Around 50% of students get internships at companies like TCS, Accenture, and Hexaware in data analysis.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, AC, CAD labs, canteen, bookshop, and auditorium are available. Facilities in our hostel include rooms, food, Wi-Fi, washing machines, and reasonable PG fees. The canteen in our college is good, with quality food at a reasonable price. The medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and speak fluent English. They are very helpful in clarifying doubts and explaining with suitable examples. The course I have taken is very useful for the future. The exam pattern is very easy to pass. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course, with my interest. By learning many things, I can improve my knowledge and skills. The events are conducted with so much interest, and they help to overcome stage fear.

GITAM life by a student reviewed.
Placements: In my course less no of students as been placed. The highest is 8lac per annum, the lowest is 3 lacs per annum and average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are oracle, TCS, wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, mind tree
Internships is their interest.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big and have Wi-Fi, the library is e-digital and peaceful, and the labs are also big and well maintained by the staff. The hostel is good but the food is not that good, we have 24/7 medical facilities and we have big grounds for playing games and we participate in tournaments.
Faculty: Yes, The teachers are qualified, Skilled and knowledgeable and their teaching is excellent and they can be helpful in every educational program. Yes, The course curriculum is relevant, yes it can. Make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult if we sit and study.
Other: For placements it's good. We have everything.

This college is worth it.
Placements: Placements are decent in this college. Every year around 90-100% of placements take place. GITAM provides ample internships via some digital networks and students can do internships right from the first year. This college trains its students for entrepreneurship and not for jobs. Overall the success rate is high or around 100% in the upcoming days.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good, students will never feel any temperature change when they are in this college. The library is good with almost every required collection of books. There is a digital library where one can study some online journals. The mess and the hostel rooms are small and it is difficult to adjust in that rooms with a roommate. But all services related to the hostel like Wi-Fi, laundry, hot water, and cleanness are 10 out of 10. The mess food is good, and they provide non-vegetarian two times a week, and there is always a special meal at every festival.
Faculty: Teachers treat students just like their children if students behave with them as their parents. They will answer every doubt during class as well as off-class. The course is good, they teach students interesting subjects like aptitude, IELTS English, venture development course, personality development course, and rest all other subjects. The curriculum is continuous evaluation, which means that 70% of marks are given to students based on semester performance like quizzes, and classes test. Coursera courses, assignments, mid-exams, and the semester-end exams are for 30%. Semester exams are not difficult what students have to do is just study teachers' notes and PPT which they provide and solve some questions and they will score 9 CGPA.
Other: The CSE and data science are at their peak and data science is a course that is provided by only some good colleges in Karnataka as well as India. The course is all good and they are lacking anywhere to provide students any facilities. Many programming competition takes place in which one can win up to Rs 30,000 and apart from hackathons and it provides good student life and conducts some sports programs, fests, dance, music programs, and much more. One more thing to be noted is that there is a curfew at 9.00 PM means no one can walk on campus, but students can enjoy the hostel.
