HIT is good for value for money, and with a good ROI, you have to work hard here.
Placements: In my course, approximately 70% students got placement with an average of 4-5 LPA. Some have been offered 10-12 LPA also. But not alot company has been came in campus for specialization. An ML engineer is the main role offered in my course. Teamplus like company, has recruited the students and senior suggest study, you will get a placement.
Infrastructure: Everything is good except the first semester. As the machines are old, the remaining library and all are so beautiful, there is no boys' hostel facility in the college, and so it's difficult for the students outside West Bengal. Mess and canteen food is delicious and good at less than a little. Affordable price, sports and games are, but you have to carry the expenses.
Faculty: Faculty are so good and kind, along with humble, some are a little. Showoff type remaining, every teacher is so good and well educated. The course curriculum is still old-fashioned. But there are faculty who are preparing the students for the industry. Semester exams are tough, though teachers give suggestive questions from which no questions came outside of that. The pass percentage is also approximately 90%.
Other: The environment is of AI, and that fascinated me to pursue it. One thing I wanna say is that if you come to college for fest, then don't put your leg here. Fest won't happen in this college, remaining connectivity and everything is good. So one thing is, the fest and gym must be in the college.

The college is decent for students who want normal placements at low fees.
Placements: In the CSE course, many students got placed, and it is almost 80 percent. On campus, the highest package offered is 13 LPA. The average package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. Around 20 percent of students got internships. No such top roles are offered, and all the offers are for freshers.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel inside the college, but we will get a hostel outside the college. There is Wi-Fi in the library. Our campus infrastructure is also good. Bathrooms and classrooms are well-cleaned. From time to time, cleaning is done. There are so many labs for all subjects.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good enough to understand complex topics. Semester exams are not very difficult. Almost every student passes exams.
Other: The best thing about my course is that there is no such pressure on students. From the second year, very few students come to the college, so I wanted to improve and make strict regulations on attendance. Many events, fests, and activities are going on the campus.

Realistic of Heritage Institute of Technology.
Placements: HIT Kolkata has an active placement cell. Almost 80 percent of students got placed, and especially CSE and ECE students scored high placements in the college. The highest package offered was 15 LPA last year. The average package offered ranges from 4.5-5 LPA. Mass recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, and Infosys visited the college last year. There is no option of internships in the 3rd year. A lot of students did internships on their own.
Infrastructure: HIT Kolkata has one of the largest campuses in Kolkata. It has a modern and well-maintained campus with good facilities like air-conditioned labs, a green environment, and noise-free areas. There is a central library with the largest collection of books, journals, etc. It has a good seating capacity, as around 250 students can sit at a time. Girl's hostel is located on the campus itself with limited seats. There is no option for male students, but there are lots of paying guests and hostels for boys close to campus. Hostel rooms are both double and triple sharing. Wi-Fi and hostel food are average.
Faculty: HIT Kolkata has well-qualified and well-trained faculty members across all departments. A lot of them are PhD holders. Their quality of teaching is understandable. The course curriculum is relevant because it helps in lots of competitive exams like GATE. Semester exams are not too difficult. If we obey all classes and the suggested questions given by professors, we will score good marks and a CGPA. Almost 95 percent of students pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because I scored 5800th rank in WBJEE, but I have the option to choose a specialisation branch. I want to go to the core ECE field. Professors are good and well-trained. There is no need for improvement. Fests are not oganised in college. Only some events are organised, like dance, debate, fashion, and quizzes. Scholarships are available only for home state students.

A balanced review of academics, placements and campus life.
Placements: Around 30-40 percent students got placed in my course. The highest package was 9 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and so many small companies. There is no facility of internship provided by college; if you want to do an internship, you have to do it on your own as there is no help provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by our college is adequate and functional, supporting both academic and practical activities. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the library is well maintained. Hostel is provided for girls only, there is no facility for boys’ hostel, and food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers in our department are well qualified and knowledgeable. Most faculty members hold postgraduate degrees, and some also have Ph.D. qualifications. The course curriculum is relevant and well structured, covering both theoretical foundation and practical application.
Other: I chose this course because of its strong career opportunities, industry relevance, and future growth. The course offers a good balance of theoretical and practical knowledge, especially in technology. The college organizes annual cultural and technical fests.

I absolutely enjoyed campus life. The teaching faculty is really good.
Placements: This year, in my AIML branch, 79 percent of students got placed. Infosys and Cognizant are top recruiters. Many other small companies also visit the college. The highest package of our college is 1.1 crores per annum, which is offered on off-campus through LinkedIn. Besides, all other software branches are really good at placements.
Infrastructure: The college does not motivate us in terms of infrastructure. Wi-Fi, lab, library, classrooms, and everything is top-notch. In this college, there is only a girls' hostel. Boys need to take a PG or a rented room. Besides, everything is good for a student.
Faculty: Teaching quality is really good. In this course, faculty members make students industry-ready. It is an autonomous college that is affiliated with MAKAUT. Teachers are really helpful for the upcoming exams. They prepared us. In a semester, there are 2 exams, i.e., end-semester and mid-semester. We need to focus on end-semester.

Good placement, and good infrastructure.
Placements: 87 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package on campus is 13 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package offered is 4–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Oracle, Teach Mahindra, etc. Around 30–50 percent of students got internships from my course, provided by the college. Top roles offered in our course are Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not good. Only the girls’ hostel is on campus, while the boys’ hostel is in Kalikapur, which is not good. There are several PGs or messes near the college that you can consider. Overall infrastructure is good, not the best. One thing to note is that house rent is mostly 5000 and above for a single person (not sure).
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some teachers are not helpful. Teaching quality is around 8/10, and all teachers are average. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are too difficult [too much stuff]. The pass percentage is almost 89 percent (not sure).
