It is a very bad institute in West Bengal.

Placements: None of the companies visits our institute for placements and chemistry department at least. Teachers won't tell you or refer you to any company. I suggest students don't take admission in this institute, mainly in the chemistry department. It is very bad.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel, and the course is very boring. The hostel is available only for B.Tech students. Hostels are built before Independence, and they are like the broken old temple. Sometimes, dirt and unhygienic can be seen in the hostel. However, the food served here is sometimes good, and the Wi-Fi speed is somehow good.

Faculty: Faculty members are biased. The course curriculum is old, and the teaching style of the professors is boring. Teaching hours are long. There is no improvement needed except for some tutors in organic and physical departments. The other professors are very unprofessional, and most of them behave poorly.

Other: I have chosen this course by mistake.

Placements: This year, zero students have been placed in this course. Our placement representatives and the concerned authority are trying their best to reach out to different companies, but still no response because our university has just recently been centralized by NIT. However, many students got summer and winter internships during the course in IITs and IISERs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is gradually improving. Everything is in its optimum condition except the washrooms. We have many instruments available in our labs, from UV, NMR, and mass spectrometers. The hostel and our college hospital are well-maintained. Mess food is edible and tasty.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, though their teaching quality needs to be improved. Every students have come from a different course curriculum with a different range of knowledge, they should look into this too. The semester exams are easy. 100% pass percentage.

Other: I chose this course to get to know more about my field. Our Institute has a good research scope. We love the events organised here where famous singers are invited too.
