I am highly satisfied with the coding culture of the college.

Placements: For our batch and our senior batch, the average salary package offered was around 8-11 LPA. All the students who were willing to get a job were placed. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Adobe, DE Shaw, Goldman Sach, Morgan Stanley, Nutanix, Qualcomm, Tesco, Cisco, Western Digital, Mathworks, Chargebee, Telstra, Nyka, BEL, NPCL, TCS, R&D, ZS Associates, ICICI Bank, JD Software, Axtria, Nagarro, American Express and few more visited our campus. Developer, tester, data analyst were the position offered to students. In our college internship is not available for postgraduate students. It is mandatory for undergraduates. There is an excellent placement cell for campus recruitment.

Infrastructure: There are excellent facilities like Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, library, medical, sports and games. Quality of labs and classrooms is very good. The food served in the canteen is average. Hostel rooms are good, and there is 24x7 Wi-Fi service in hostel rooms and labs. There are little issues related to infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are not much helpful as expected. Teaching quality is theoretical rather than practical. Whiteboard and projector are used as a teaching method. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. We did not get industry exposure. The course curriculum needs to be improved.

Other: Almost every weekend, extracurricular activities are conducted to expose students' talent.

Placements: Placements at IIIT, Allahabad are exceptional across all the specializations of M.Tech. The claim of 100% placements by the college holds true as all of us got placed in good companies. The average placements of M.Tech revolved around 12 lac per year with the highest package exceeding 20 lac per year. There is a dedicated placement cell which thrives to improve placements with every passing year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IIIT, Allahabad is, without a doubt, one of the best in the region. There are state of the art labs like Fiber Optics lab, Wireless sensor network lab, Bioinformatics lab, etc. Wi-Fi speed as well as connectivity is very good as we could get high-speed internet at every nook and corner of the college. The hostel rooms are very comfortable and air conditioned.

Faculty: The faculty at IIIT, Allahabad was extremely qualified across all the specializations. The teachers usually had prior industry experience. Teaching was done through slides and in a typical class there were 40-50 students to a teacher. Industry visits and guest sessions were regular and as students we got very good industry exposure.
