Needs improvement, but hoping for a better future.

Placements: The placement percentage of IIIT Bhagalpur is about 60-70% across all the branches. The highest package offered is 46 LPA, and the average package for the Mechatronics branch is 6 LPA and for CSE is 9 LPA. For internships, be self-dependent, do not depend on the college.

Infrastructure: As our campus is recently made, it has all the basic infrastructure and facilities that should be provided, like LAN, air-conditioned classes, and a library. Recently, washing machines are ordered. All rooms have beds and a study table. The washrooms are decent and clean.

Faculty: As for the professors, they are highly qualified and did their Ph.D. from IIT Patna and Guwahati, etc. The curriculum goes hand-in-hand with company needs. It is not so difficult to score in semester exams and viva, just do what the professors ask and write as per the needs.

Faculty members are well qualified. Placement record is good if you study you will get placed.

Placements: Hello, I am Karan from IIIT Bhagalpur CSE branch. Well, in our college placement records are very good either it is on-campus or off-campus. Internship opportunities are good and have a very vibrant college life. You will not face any problem.

Infrastructure: We have well-structured hostel and well-maintained as well. We have well quality food continuing mess, and you will not have any problem in hostel and mess. Hostel rooms are well maintained with two fans, 3 beds, 3 WLAN, study table, chair, and well-maintained bathrooms. We have well-maintained library. We have a very good sports culture.

Faculty: We have well-qualified professor in our college, and they have completed their Ph.D. from various IITs. Well, we have better placement so professors are strict with CGPA. We have the best study culture. We have the best coding culture on our campus.

Other: Well, you will have a vibrant college life, and you will not face any problem related to placements. If you love to study then you will surely get placed.

I am a little bit satisfied.

Placements: The placement is not the best, but the college is working towards it and approaching companies. I think it will improve further shortly. Around 40% of students are placed, and placements are currently ongoing. About 20% of seniors have secured internships. The top recruiter is Infosys, and Computer Science and Engineering students have received the most offers.

Infrastructure: We have classrooms, labs, and the symbol of our college, which is our computer lab and library building. The mess food is good, meaning it's eatable. I think cleanliness is maintained. Currently, there is no canteen in the college, but there are Domino's and Pizza Hut. There is a room for medical purposes, and an emergency hospital van is available. There are sports and games, but I am very disappointed that the college does not fully support these activities. Everything is managed by seniors (sports, games, clubs).

Faculty: I think the professors are qualified enough, but the teaching is not good. We have to study everything by ourselves. I don't like the course curriculum. It does not make students industry-ready. Currently, it is difficult, and I am having a hard time.

The college experience depends on a student's perspective and what a student expects from a college.

Placements: The institute is experiencing steady growth with a decent placement percentage. As per this year's official data, there have been 201 on-campus placement offers. The highest package till now is 83 LPA (offered by Atlassian). The average package is of nearly 10 LPA. Median package is nearly 9 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, which offers packages ranging from 3 LPA to 11 LPA. However, students also get offers from companies like Amazon and Microsoft. The training and placement cell provides various internship opportunities to students, which helps them gain experience. The major internship provider is Autodesk.

Infrastructure: The hostel is newly built and comprises various facilities. Canteen facility is not present till now, but we hope that this will be looked into by management as well. At least all basic facilities like cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, and table tennis court are there. There is a dispensary in the hostel as well, which is open day and night. Mess food is decent, and hostel rooms are spacious enough.

Faculty: Curriculum as compared to other institutes since it's a tech college. Faculty members are decent. However, one needs to study on one's own. Two exams are conducted in every semester, and tests are conducted on a monthly basis. The difficulty of the exams is moderate, studying two weeks before the exams is more than sufficient.

Other: I chose this course because I was not sure whether to go for a software job or a core job. As ECE students get opportunities for both software and the core industry. The semiconductor industry offers various opportunities to ECE students. The semiconductor industry is expected to grow in the upcoming years, so a core job won't be a bad choice for students.

IIIT Bhagalpur has great faculty, good coding culture, decent campus life, and growing facilities.

Placements: Our college has had good placement for the last 7 years. Our TNC is also working on it. Last year, our college signed an MoU with a Korean company. You can get a chance to study abroad from our college. In 2024, some of our seniors got placed in Texas, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, and many more.

Infrastructure: Our faculty is good and approachable. Labs, classroom, and Wi-Fi are all good. Our college has two hostels (Kautilya hostel for boys and Kadambini hostel for girls). We are getting an okay hostel facility. We have a good mess, offering hygienic food.

Faculty: Our curriculum is well planned, and everything is going on time. There is no delay or something. You have to appear for every exam. You need at least 75% to appear in the exam. Initially, you have no problem passing the semester exam, but as you are getting promoted, you have to study more to pass the exam.

Other: I think it's good and value for money. The best thing over here is that our seniors and faculty are supportive. Some events are organized by the college, but they need improvement. As we are getting our new director, we are hoping everything will be good soon.

I would not recommned this college to anyone.

Placements: MAE has good placements. The highest salary package in the core branch of MAE was 8 LPA-9 LPA in the year 2023. However, most students get placed in IT companies with the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. Infosys, SOLIDWORKS, NVIDIA, MEDIA.NET, etc., are the top recruiters. About 80%-90% of students get placed as software engineers.

Infrastructure: Recently, a diamond building was constructed for the library, but it was ruined by being used as a lab. However, the 4th and 5th floors are used as the library, which is very beautiful. Mess is the same as in every college. Facilities are not great, such as no gym or sports facilities, but medical facilities are available. There is no canteen. LAN is available for each B.Ed student. The most important issue is that after the 2nd year, have to stay outside the campus because there is no space to stay in the college. There is only one building for boys, but there are no issues for girls.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. Attendance is compulsory in every subject. Have to concentrate on academics as well, because some exams are quite difficult, while others are easier. Exams are relevant and helpful. Semester exams are difficult.

Other: Robotics club is the most active and helps you learn a lot of things. College facilities should be improved. There is no market nearby, so you have to go far to get some things. College does not provide funds for fests. College also does not have a permanent director, which is why these issues are happening. However, it is expected that a director will be hired by January. The number of seats is limited due to the lack of availability. There are 21 seats for OBCs, 3 for SCs, and 4 for EWS in NSP. Scholarships are available for all states, as well as private scholarships.
