The IIT Bhilai Jam Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing, with the Cutoff of 511, with the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff stood at 666. 

If the Cutoff rank is more than 511, there is no scope for admission to IITs for M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing.  

IIT Bhilai accepts IIT JAM for admission into MSc courses. The cut-off for IIT JAM is released in the form of Cutoff ranks. The number of seats available is directly propotionate to Cutoff ranks. The trend observed indicates that as the number of students passing the exam increases, the closing ranks also increase. IIT JAM is the accepting exam for IIT Bhilai for MSc admissions. The Cutoff for been concluded after release of 5 rounds. The Cutoff ranks were released for MSc in Chemistry, MSc in Mathematics & Computing and MSc in Physics. For MSc in Mathematics & Computing and MSc in Physics, the Last round closing ranks were 594 and 803, respectively, for the General AI category candidates.

The IIT Bhilai MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computing is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 498 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc. in Physics with a cutoff rank of 590. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 590 to be eligible for IIT Bhilai. 

IIT Bhilai admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.
